Bought this mainly to make it easier to use Excel on both my phone and tablet (both Samsung) and because it has a groove to hold them while you type. I already had a logitech BT keyboard for my PS3, but way too bulky to carry around. This is perfect EXCEPT why on Earth is the on/off switch underneath?? When i am at home i keep it semi permanently set up. I want to turn it off when not in use. Also to register the product you need the serial number. Sherlock Holmes wouldn't be able to find it either.

This keyboard is very easy to connect and switch between devices. I use it to text messages to my applicants. It is difficult for me to type on my company phone, this keyboard makes it so much easier. Would recommend this keyboard to someone who has to do a lot of texting in an office setting. Safety reminder, not for use while driving!!!!

The greatest feature of this keyboard is the switching between devices. Very useful. The slot is too narrow for my Surface 3 tablet so I don't use it as a stand, I can use the keyboard easily for my phone and two tablets. The keys are a little mushy, but are not bad.

This was just what I was looking for when I was searching for a keyboard for my older generation iPad. I didnʻt want to pay a lot for an apple keyboard. This keyboard uses bluetooth and batteries. No chargers ot recharge the keyboard and no wires to connect. I love that it also has the pocket/holder where you can place your iPad or whatever you might have so you donʻt need to find a prop to hold up the electronic youʻre using. The two automatic connect buttongs/settings help when I use my iPad and phone with the keyboard. Itʻs always easy and fast to connect the keyboard to either one. It feels just like a normal keyboard (no buttons moved or out of place). I LOVE IT. JUST WHAT I NEEDED.

This Keyboard is great! I have both my phone and my tablet programmed into it. I use it everyday, for writing, reading, ect. I find that I have not hauled my laptop around since I have purchased the keyboard. It was recommended by the salesman and if I could remember who he was I would give him credit!

    The BEST Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard...PERIOD

I've owned/used several wireless keyboards over the years (all but a few being Logitech), including a few "multi-device" keyboards. Through personal experience, I've had to deal with numerous problems - keyboards constantly disconnecting/reconnecting; ghost "stuck keys" where the physical key isn't actually stuck, but the keyboard continuously sends a signal as if the key is pressed; keyboards that claim to be compatible with any Android device, but actually aren't. I could continue pointing out problems, but those reading this should get the picture, and those who have used wireless keyboards...especially Bluetooth keyboards...understand what I'm referring to. The funny thing about this...in a sad way...is that I had considered the K480 a while back, but dismissed it due to its price. Well, as is said fairly often, “You get what you pay for.” The Logitech "Tablet Keyboard for Android 3+" was good, but could only connect to my cell phones & tablet. While I really liked the keyboard's case doing double-duty as a tablet stand, that couldn’t make up for its inability to connect with non-Android devices. Additionally, it had an ongoing “ghost stuck key” problem, making it relatively useless. Two other keyboards purchased through Amazon (one cheap, the other costing as bit more) were true multi-device keyboards, but both had markings specific to a single device (on the cheap keyboard), or only two device types (Windows & Android on the more costly keyboard). While the more costly keyboard did connected to the MacBook, its lack of Apple-specific markings wasn’t its only downfall – its disconnect/reconnect problem was worse than that of the Logitech keyboard mentioned above. Now...moving to Logitech's K480, this is the first wireless keyboard that I've had which is TRULY multi-device compatible. To start with, it has Windows, Mac, & Android markings, completely taking away any guesswork from the previous keyboards. Second, it connects to all three device-types, without fail. In testing it, I’ve had it connected to my Windows laptop, both of my Android tablets (Samsung & Asus), my Samsung phone, and the church's MacBook Pro (ok, with the MacBook, it has disconnected/reconnected, but very rarely…but it always connects initially without fail). In terms of switching devices on the fly, I've had it simultaneously connected to the MacBook, my cellphone, and one of my tablets (honestly, I was trying to remember whether it was the Asus, or Samsung, but I couldn't recall), and switching keyboard control from any one device, to another, is as simple as turning the dial...and it ALWAYS functions correctly. My ONLY complaint is the neon yellowish-green rubber on the dial, and in the tablet stand. While I’d have preferred blue, white, gray, and even black, would have been far more acceptable. I do realize that Logitech used to make a white version, with gray rubber pieces, but it was aimed primarily at Mac users, and has since been discontinued. You can find a few online retailers carrying refurbished units, but, if you want a new unit, you’ll be hard-pressed to find it…thus, the only realistic choice is the black with neon yellowish-green. Ignoring my one complaint, you will NOT find a better multi-device wireless keyboard. True, it’s not a full-size keyboard, but, if you have need of such, then you should really be sticking with a wireless keyboard designed for one specific type of device. On the other hand, if you have need of a multi-device wireless keyboard, to be used with different device types, then the Logitech K480 will not only be your best choice…it should be your ONLY choice.

Then when I switched to an IPad this keyboard flawlessly switched as well. its lightweight and very comfortable and easy to use. I even use it to text from my phone when Im sending long winded messages LOL

I wish i had discovered this years ago. So easy to set up and starr using. So much easier to use than my fat fingers on the tiny keys of my phone, on the larger but still small keys of my 8 in tablet, and even the larger keys of my 10 in tablet. The only potential problem I see is wanting a 4th position on the rotary switch when I spend the time to find out if my smart tv works with the keyboard as well.

I love this keyboard. Switching between devices is seamless. Functions well with different operating systems and platforms. The only drawbacks are: 1. It's heavier than I would prefer 2. Typing on it is LOUD The power switch is located on the underside of the keyboard. Maybe they chose to put it there to prevent accidentally turning it off while in use. It's not a major issue for me but it could be annoying to some because any time you want to power it off or on, you'll need to remove any devices from trough/cradle to flip the keyboard over. Great device! Very pleased so far.

Works for Delorme InReach satcom, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 pad and Samsung Galaxy cellphone and likely all other bluetooth compliant devices. Love the 1-2-3 positions for each device means once sync you are ready to select which device - ONLY ERROR IS ON/OFF SWITCH IS ON BOTTOM OF KEYBOARD - TOP WOULD OF BEEN PERFECT.

Is wonderful wireless keyboard and would have gotten a five star rating but when I use it for my iphone, which is not often it will not stand because it is in a case. Other than that and missing the number pad this is perfect for a portable keypad

I bought 2 of these one for the office and one for the house. At the house I use them for my Apple TV's and my iPad and at the office for my iPhone and iPad. I travel a lot during the day and having a keyboard that allows me to quickly switch remembered devices is great when trying to bang out a homework paper.

This was very helpful because I have an iPhone 6+ and when I type out documents it is invaluable in saving my hands from cramping and I can finish in half the time. I wish it had a mousepad though installed on it. For the price it was worth it. Very good in playing videos or audible because of the video play features.

I purchased this keyboard since I needed to travel and wanted to use my tablet versus a laptop. This worked out very well since I was able to use my tablet for access to web sites, email and text document editing. The keyboard was easy to use and connect to my tablet and has made traveling a better experience.

I was very surprised at how well the blue tooth key board worked straight out of the box and with three position switch selector you can choose 3 previously saved devices. Just hit a button and its linked up. I've had no issues at all thus far and I'm using it with Apple and Android.

Had an early samsung tablet and had to buy their pricey and lame keyboard. Bought upgraded tablet and this keyboard. So good that my 74-year-old mom stole it for her tablet. Awesome. Bought another new one for her (she deserved new, right?). Awesome.
