We bought this as a replacement for my wife's keyboard that was losing the key identification on the keys from frequent use and being an older keyboard. This Ligitech Keyboard is very quiet and the back lighting is very helpful for typing late at night. She likes it a lot.

I work on my computers 16 hours a day making movies and soundtracks. I have a desk with 5 towers on 2 KV switches using 2 sets of Mice [Logitech G-5s, the best you can buy in my humble opinion] and up till recently 2 Saitek Eclipse II's. I've always worn through my keyboards in about 6 months of HARD use, so I haven't bothered to try for replacements when they simply wear out. For me, I focus on the quiteness, the feel, and "bounce" [previously a problem with Logitechs for me] and dependability. I know that I'm going to destroy the thing in 6 months [with the Saitek's I simply wear through the color on the keys and break the handrests with extreme wear]. Anyway, I thought I was stuck since nobody else had a comfortable, professionally designed, quiet, and wired [I've learned to HATE wireless mice/keyboards over the years] alternative. Imagine my surprise when I found this New Logitech using their cool low profile design in a wired keyboard that is actually illuminated in a way you can USE the illumination to actually see what your doing [memo to Saitek and faded colors that are useless, other than impressing your friends].

WOW! I wish I had bought this years ago, but it might not have been available then. I can work with most of the lights in the room turned off early mornings and late evenings or in the middle of the night when I can't sleep. The brightness of the keyboard is adjustable! Or, you can turn off the back lighting completely. Also, the keyboard is ultra-thin yet remains very stable on the desktop, does not slip or slide at all. It has a very "solid" professional feel too it. Definitely not a cheapo product. The function keys are also programmable. I really do love this keyboard. Thank you, Logitech and Best Buy!

I've had this keyboard for about a week and I love it. I can play my PC games in pure darkness without any issue. The keyboard itself feels great and not cheap like other keyboards out there. Buy this, you seriously won't be disappointed.

Amazing keyboard, replaced it from a long history of logitech wirless keyboards and let me tell you this is amazing! Its super thin and the back lite keys are amazing, in the day or night. I never turn the back lite keys off. Super quiet keys. If your looking for a replacement keyboard, go with this one!

I've owned dozens of keyboards and this satisfies almost all of my wishes. The feeling while typing is outstanding. I stopped using wired anything (keyboard,mouse) because I'm a gamer. My only gripe was I wish it had an ergonomic version. Other than that I recommend this keyboard VERY highly.

This keyboard is great it feels like a laptop keyboard. When I opened it I didn't expect it to be so thin. If I had the money I would have probably bought two just because there aren't too many keyboards like this one out there.

I'm buying a second one for my PC. I still have an original one that is 10 years old!!!!!! Still works like a champ, just looking a little worn, so wanted a fresh new one before this keyboard goes away!

I don't know how I lived without this keyboard!! I tend to use the computer in low light at night, so being able to see the keys now is a big plus. Typing is also a pleasure now with the soft touch keys and low profile of the keyboard itself. Kudos for this one Logitech!

Love how this keyboard looks and feels, much like my laptop's keyboard. The illumination feature is extreamly useful. The layout isnicely spaced out, great sized keys, and well-weighted. Only flaw I found was that the keyboard would ghost. (ex. W,A,S,D, SPACE, SHIFT, CTRL controls don't work well on this keyboard) So I wouldn't recommend for gamers. As for other purposes, works great. Love the hotkeys at the top!

The logitech keyboard is a great soft touch keyboard; easy to use; usb so no batteries to buy or recharge. The back lighting is great for gadget lovers, the finish is great; no smudges. The soft touch has the feel of laptop keyboads. Great product for the price range.

Logitech is all you have to say for peripherals and you know your getting great quality. I love the keys for their easy of use when typing. The backlit keys also is a HUGE bonus when using in a dim or dark room. Definitely a one to get for your computer.....

I really like this keyboard. I needed something to use with my ThinkPad, and after a lot of searching I came across this keyboard. I like the design, the lighted keys, and the way the keys feel. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

I was amazed at this keyboard since my husband brought it home. It has wonderful feel and key travel. I wish notebooks would mimic this keyboard. I can hardly use any other keyboard, it has spoiled me for sure.

Yes it is a good keyboard. Default launch buttons worked exactly as they should. I had read somewhere one reviewer mentioning this did not work well with Dell XPS Studio, but that's what I own and I have no issues. I thought it was a bit expensive, but given the easy set up and that the launch keys required no fine tuning (they basically launched what I needed) you have to consider this and ask if this is worth the cost. It is a well built device and my typing has been much better than using the standard keyboard that came with my desktop.

This is a great keyboard and worth every penny you spend on it. I have not had a single problem since I started using this about two months ago. I put a lot of use into this keyboard since I am constantly working on my computer. I use it for gaming, writing, programming and whatever else I might need it for. There is no lag time and the illumination is perfect for night hawks like myself. This is an all around great keyboard.

This is a very sleek keyboard. It's super thin and has a nice clear plastic border. The material at the "rest area" is nice. I would have preferred a larger space bar and I don't really like the placement of the Caps Lock and Num Lock lights. I'm not sure if it's the placement or the brightness of the lights, but it's very hard to tell notice them. One other thing I noticed was how this felt ALOT like a notebook keyboard. I have a Dell Studio XPS 16 that has very similar keyboard, lights and all. The keys are very flat compared to most other desktop keyboards I've used. I have a feeling that Logitech manufactures both keyboards.

My last keyboard was the Logitech Bluetooth DiNovo, and I'm much happier with the Illuminated Keyboard. The numeric keypad is attached, which is convenient for me. I was always straightening the detached keypad with the DiNovo. Since it's wired, there's no need to ever reconnect or change the batteries. The illumination is great; very clear, but not overly-bright. My only gripe is the loudness of the keys. It's not so bad, but I'm used to the near silent DiNovo. Overall, I am very happy with this keyboard.

This is a gorgeous keyboard. I also own a saitek eclipse ii and a cyborg. I waited on this thinking there is no way i could ever justify spending another $80 on a keyboard. Well, I broke down and got it and I must say, the others are now going to be collecting dust in my garage. It's a bit pricey but oh so worth every cent. The look, the feel, the overall design is as good as it can possible get. You cannot go wrong with this keyboard. And for those who gave 4 stars for price, try spending $80 on the 2 saitek keyboards and see if it's a five star price value or not. I'm buying 2 more so that every computer in my home has one.

feels simple amazing when i am typing on it the keys have a slight slickness to them but overall a very good buy!!!
