After adding the keyboard to my system, I was dismayed that Apple had not highly recommended the product initially. Although I am very pleased the keyboard, I was initially frustrated with the installation when I could not connect with my Mac. An initially limited exposure to the sunshine was not sufficient to set up a link with my Mac. However, it is a great product.

This keyboard is wonderful, for the most part. The lack of a cable frees up the work area and allows for greater efficiency. Furthermore, the keys on the board are adequately spaced and comfortable to press; the resistance upon button presses is tactile yet not overly strenuous. The only downside to this keyboard is that, by nature, the solar cells are recharging the battery continuously when illuminated; therefore, the keyboard depletes the life of the battery quickly since rechargeable batteries can be recharged a finite number of times. Under constant usage, this can be a problem and create additional maintenance costs.

Is really hard for me to go off the apple keyboard, but this one made it. Is comfortable, rapid response and the solar power is the icing on the cake. If you are searching for plug and play, easy going keyboard for you Mac, this is it!

This is a (disposable) battery powered keyboard with a solar charger. As with "electric" cars and "solar" powered devices, batteries will always be the weak link. The batteries are holding and supplying the power for their short lifespan. If you know and understand this, you will be happy with this keyboard. PROs: great feel and it will work like a charm for about a year. You can also use the same tiny USB adapter for a logitech wireless mouse. CONS: This is my second one. I assumed the first was a lemon and gave it another shot. For about a year, they are maintenance and trouble free. After 9 months to a year, I got used to having bathe this unit in the sun 4 to 6 hours daily to get a days work. I leave in the window all morning and start work in the afternoon. It is on reserve power or dead after 8 hours . A bright room might keep it charged (possibly), but it would have to be a very bright room to last longer than my 2. I am no eco-mentalist, but I still cringe at the thought of filling up landfills with disposable devices such as this.

This keyboard is awesome. My only complaint is that you need to make sure that if you're using other devices with this, they have to be the unifying devices. Otherwise, you'll have to use more ports for your wireless devices. The keyboard is super quiet, thin and has little legs that extend the keyboard for a little more height/angle. I've had it for one week and so far, I want another for work :) ENJOY!

I purchased this keyboard for work 2 years ago, and was one of the best purchases I made. The best non-mechanical keyboard hands down. The key response time is great when typing fast and the solar powered charging is fantastic.

Purchased this keyboard to avoid the hassle that comes with wires and batteries. My decision was great, if you want a keyboard that is very slim, relatively light, and only relies on itself for power; this keyboard is for you! I was even able to lay about 15 feet away from the USB Bluetooth adapter that came with the keyboard, and still have a strong and stable connection.

When looking for a full size keyboard for my imac I was trying to decide between Apple and Logitech. As an old PC builder and developer I had used Logitech as the go to for perepherals but as a new user to apple i wasnt sure of the combination. I am very pleased to announce that the Logitech keyboard works great and they have shown again that the Logitech name stands for quality.

This is the best keyboard I have ever had. It connected with my Mac very quickly and I love the size and ease in which I can use it. I can also use it with my IPad if I want. The keys are very sensitive and quick and its so portable. GREAT job by Logitech on this one!!!!

The only thing missing is the caps lock warning, other than that all is great!

This is a great mobile mouse, one of the best I have bought. It's a little pricey, but all the features are worth it (ex.: hyper scroll, no batteries, works on any surface, etc.). I would recommend it to most people, unless you have very large hands, you might want to go with the Logitech Master Mx.

So I bought a 2011 imac desktop, Great system but unfortunately it wasn't a typers keyboard. The keyboard was mostly for execs in their office so they could look good an type. Cause besides college students and rich people who else have time to waste money on computer items like a 2,000 dollar mac? Well thank goodness I was a college student at the time. Got the product home and had to scrap that keyboard an mouse. I went back to bestbuy and unlike usually where I know more than the sales floor associate, I ran into an employee he actually was telling me about this solar power keyboard. I can't remember what he exactly said but it was along the line of "once its fully charged you can be in the dark for 6 months and it will work". Now not for sure if thats true or not. I mean there is now way he experimented with that. I lost the receiver to it and I end throwing it away. I guess back then I didn't take very good of keyboards or mouses. And some of the buttons came off pretty easily. I will say that the keyboard always worked. I never seen it low. And I don't know anything about that user on another review on here was saying "keeping it on my patio". I don't remember it ever not working. Easily the best keyboard I have owned.

Great keyboard that has fully replaced my original Apple wired/numpad one. No need for batteries, just sunlight or recess lighting once in a while. There's a button that signifies weather the keyboard is (literally) happy or sad, meaning good lighting or not enough for charging. Had no idea before I purchased but it DOES charge while off (not sure how much power it uses while idle though). It only stopped once so far but worked after about ten seconds of light. Only downside is I am unable to check how much it is charged. I know there is an app for mac but they have gotten horrible reviews and I am avoiding the download. When I turn it on the "happy/sad" does flash once green (even when in the dark) so I'm guessing that's saying it's charged enough. The pros are much greater than that slight con but overall I love it and recommend it to anyone else looking for a great wireless keyboard.

Hi I just bought this keyboard yesterday and its doing good so far the only complaint I have is no indicator light. I mean why doesn't a keyboard this advanced have a indicator light for the caps lock and num lock but other then that its great to use. The key is kinda loud but I can live with it. The button to check the lighting around you is stupid, also once your connected with this kb you get an app installed on your PC and you can pick whether you wish to install it or not but its only a solar app so kinda useless to me as it only tells you how much battery you have left and whether your in good lighting or not.

I love this keyboard! It is so comfortable and ergonomic. You can't go wrong getting this. The fact that is is solar powered is a bonus. The area around the keys it is shiny, so you may get some smudges.

This is a great keyboard. I bought one about a year ago for my PC and have liked it so much that I just bought a second one for my mac. I love that is has a number pad on the side unlike the wireless keyboard that came with my mac.

This is my second Logitech solar keyboard. The first one was great lasted for years no issues. I had to replace it after my cat thoughtfully vomited on it. This new keyboard is not as good as the older one. This one will drop it's connection to bluetooth and I have to toggle it off/on to get it to work again. The keys also aren't as comfortable. It's not a bad keyboard if I hadn't been used to better.
