I'm not sure why I would spend twice as much for the Apple-branded equivalent of this keyboard. This unit is solid and the chiclet keys, which I prefer, make typing easy and accurate. I probably haven't owned it long enough for the battery to deplete, but supposedly it charges constantly in almost any lighting conditions. I'm probably going to buy another for my older Apple laptop that currently connects to a Windows-style keyboard.

Nice size, light and easy to use. I was use to using a windows PC with an extended keyboard, then I went to an Apple Macbook and needed an extended keyboard so a friend referred this wireless keyboard to me so I'm very pleased with my choice.

I’m glad I bought this. Keyboard works flawlessly with my MacBook Pro and external monitor (usb receiver plugged into monitor). Keys are very responsive and have good feel (better than MacBook Pro keyboard). Battery charge is automatic via solar light from my interior lightbulbs and never lets me down.

This is my second Logitech Wireless Keyboard and I think they are great. I'd had my previous one (PC version) about 5 years and it would no longer hold a charge. (I'd replaced the battery once but didn't want to do that a second time.) A couple years ago I switched from a PC to a Mac so this was a good opportunity to get the "matching" keyboard. It's wonderful to have a totally wireless keyboard - one less thing to be connected up - and the solar works excellently with the normal light in my home office. I'm very pleased with my choice!

This keyboard has great Bluetooth connectivity, I love the extras that make using short cuts so pleasant to use and the keyboard is large enough to make your hands feel comfortable yet small enough to not take up to much space on your desk!

Nice to have the freedom of a wireless keyboard and it is ergonomically comfortable. A little 'testy' to pair, and it is super sensitive (I have made spelling errors by inadvertently hitting extra keys) also I dislike the 'Cap Lock' feature, there is no indicator that the cap lock is "On" (the apple keyboard has a light to indicate this). Too early to rate the battery life, but with solar charging I hope that this will never be an issue. Overall I would rate this a 4.5 out of 5 - but I'm not going back to my wired keyboard yet!

I’ve been using this keyboard for about 3 weeks. I like that in even low light the keyboard still charges, yes it’s solar and no more replacing batteries. It’s a great alternative to the little Apple keyboard as this has a number pad which is just one of the reasons I purchased this one. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is that it doesn’t have any key lights. So if your Cap lock is on and your anything like me when you type and not really looking at the screen, you just yelled everything you typed. Other than that, I’m really happy with it.

This is a great keyboard. It pairs easily, types accurately, and requires no battery changes. The solar charging feature is a big plus.

My gf has loved this keyboard from day 1. Good quality with a great price. Having to never put batteries in this product is a great plus!

Excellent keyboard for users who use the number pad. I'm a recent Windows to Mac convert and I'm accustomed to the full sized keyboard with number pad. The Apple wireless keyboard is well designed, but too small. This one works great.

This keyboard is great in that it a) is solar and doesn't require batteries and b) has a good key response. I am a touch typist so the keyboard response is important to me. I liked it well enough to buy a second keyboard for my laptop.

Great keyboard, works well and no difficulty maintaining 100 percent charge. Only possible improvement would be backlighting for keys, but because the keyboard is designed for use with a desktop other lighting options should be available.

I read the reviews before I gave this keyboard a try, and I don't know why some people didn't like it. After weeks of use, it still has a 100% charge. It is the sleekest, best made keyboard I've ever owned. Connectivity is easy and has never dropped even though I have the USB receiver plugged into a hub with several other devices. It looks like it belongs with a Mac.

Unit was packaged well even though box had a dent- the Solar was efficient even under fluorescent light. Store rep was willing to demo unit so I could see it was undamaged. linkup sequence worked as described and has been flawless

I have the windows version of this keyboard (which is the one you're looking at this review on) but i'm currently posting this review using the mac version of the same solor powered keyboard. These use very little power so it doesn't take my light to keep these charged. With the mac, i wasn't able to get the app working right to show me how "charged" the keyboard is, but thats ok because it has a happy and sad button over on the top right of the keyboard... when you press the button, if it lights up green then it's got great light and is doing well charging.. If it's red, it's not got enough light to charge itself up. On the windows version of this keyboard, when you hit that same button, it will bring up an app to show you how charged your keyboard is and the LUX rating that the solar panels are receiving and gives you an idea of how well it's charging... If you're curious about having to have this close to your window to get sunlight, you don't... There are times at night that i use my phone like a "lamp" on my desk and the phone provides enough light to make the keyboard show green when i press the happy/sad button. Depending on the brightness of my monitor, sometimes it can show up green just from the light that comes from the screen... All in all, these keyboards are great feeling, the keys are spaced out a bit more... To me, it's like typing on pillows... The keys are very well made, and the keyboard is well made as well..

have this as a replacement to my logitech 510 keyboard. this one works way better. plus it's sola, so no need for batteries. if you are a vampire you may not want to buy this as it requires sunlight for power.

I buy every client this combination of a solar keyboard and mouse, mainly because the keyboard never needs a battery and ambient light is more than enough to keep it charged.

This keyboard has worked perfectly from the get go. I have had absolutely no problems with it and have found it responsive and sturdy. On a long typing day, I like to sit back in my chair and put the keyboard in my lap. Works great!

Overall this is a very nice keyboard. I had bought one previously for another computer. I like that it is solar but would recommend that you purchase the extended warranty on it. The other one I had stopped working suddenly so had to switch it out for another of the same model. I am curious to see if it or this one has the same issue after a year or if that was an anomaly but, even with that, I would still recommend this keyboard as it is responsive without lag and is well constructed.

Bought this without reading any reviews and very satisfied with this keyboard. So easy to connect to my mac and love the layout of the keyboard. Would recommend anyone looking for a keyboard, get this one.
