Customers are saying

Customers admire the product's excellent overall performance, reliable solar charging, and comfortable key feel. They also appreciate its seamless connectivity, sleek design, and impressive battery life, which contributes to a quiet and enjoyable typing experience. However, some users note the absence of indicator lights for cap lock or number lock. A minor concern is the glossy black finish around the keys.

Nice solar keyboard - until it breaks!

I was excited at the thought of a solar powered wireless keyboard - no more replacing AA batteries over and over. I checked out the keyboard in the store and it looked and felt sleek yet sturdy, so I bought one. I felt the price was a bit high at 79.95 but I figured you get what you pay for and I love Logitech products. Installation was a snap and after downloading the unifying software from logitech.com I was using my logitech wireless trackball M570 with the K750 solar keyboard sharing 1 USB receiver. I let it charge up and within no time I was using it. The operating distance was good and all in all it was a nice keyboard. All was well for about 4 months. Just this weekend I noticed the E and V keys were unresponsive and after cleaning the keyboard with a dry soft cloth the F8 key popped off. I put it back on to the best of my ability (it clicked back in place) but it only stays put temporarily. I brush against it or use it and it pops off again. I am not a hard typist, and I take care of my stuff. For keys to break so soon just shows that this keyboard is not designed for the long haul. Today the keyboard is not responding at all even after leaving it in direct sunlight for several hours. I just read on their website that the battery is only expected to last 2 months on a full charge. It says in the FAQ for the keyboard that the battery is not available in stores, only through their parts store online, and so far I have not been able to find the part on their site, as the only replacement part listed for the keyboard is the unifying receiver. It has a 3 year limited hardware warranty but I am not going to bother anymore with this. I will buy something else. I have been a big fan of logitech products for many years and I will continue to buy them, but this one is not worth the money.

    Nice keyboard and no wires

I bought this keyboard to replace my Apple keyboard. I wanted to keep a numeric key pad and have the flexibility of wireless. The solar is a bonus. The room I work in is semi dark and I have never ran low on power. it is comfortable and easy to set up. This keyboard does not have a heavy duty feel I like. But I have easily gotten normalized to it. I also prefer the white finish over the black as it does not streak or smudge. I have only had one issue which I believe is minor. Went I first started using it, I noticed that my magic track pad was selecting everything it passed over on the screen. After new batteries and disconnecting and reconnecting to no avail I moved the mouse away from its location right beside the keyboard. The problem has never cam back. I recommend keeping the trackpad at least 4 inches away from the keyboard and everything works great.

Buy it. Don't hesitate. You WANT this keyboard. It's stylish, functions perfectly, works well in low/dim light and holds a charge for a long time. This is a must have.

    I LOVE this keyboard!!!

I was excited to get this keyboard but it exceeded my expectations by far!!! I've had it for a short time, (a week# so I cant speak to the long term functionality, but it always works, even in complete dark. I guess it pulls light from anything and stores for a good while. This is no thicker than the original 3G iphone. It's extremely thin and lightweight. It's black but it's outlined in white #on the edges of the keyboard) which gives it a modern look. It looks great. We purchased it so we could use it on our smart tv in the kitchen for for internet use, etc but I love it so much I use it in place of my other keyboard on our main PC and we just take it in there if we want to use it. I think we will end up purchasing a second one.

This keyboard is awesome. My only complaint is that you need to make sure that if you're using other devices with this, they have to be the unifying devices. Otherwise, you'll have to use more ports for your wireless devices. The keyboard is super quiet, thin and has little legs that extend the keyboard for a little more height/angle. I've had it for one week and so far, I want another for work :) ENJOY!

Can you fall in love with a keyboard? I think I did! My Apple Aluminum keyboard crapped out on me, and since it was the only keyboard I had, I needed a new one in a hurry. First of all, this keyboard does absolutely everything my Apple keyboard did. I didn't have to change any preferences... they all just work. I love the fact that it has the solar panel to keep the battery charged. I love the wireless feature. Because I lost the two USB ports that were on the Apple keyboard, I also purchased a Logitech 325 mouse, which pairs up with the same dongle as the keyboard, thereby freeing up one additional USB port, which I usually use for my card reader. I like the slightly larger size of this keyboard. I prefer to type with the keyboard in my lap, and it just feels more stable. I really can't tell much difference between the keystrokes on this Logitech from my Apple keyboard... there was no adjustment period, no learning curve.... It just works! The only negative is the lack of a Caps Lock light. Highly recommend this keyboard.

I have used this keyboard/mouse combo for about six months for my work. I type so much I go through a keyboard in about a year. I am very particular about my keyboards, too. I have tried other wireless keyboards/mice and was disappointed with battery life and connectivity. This keyboard is, by far, the best. -- Smooth and soft keys. -- Compatible with both Windows and Mac. -- Solar works like a charm. (I have moderate indirect light.) -- Connection is seamless. -- I have had to change the battery in the mouse just once in six months. -- Mostly compatible with IOGear KVM switches. I use a KVM switch to switch between a PC and a Mac. (This keyboard/mouse combo works like a charm on my IOGear Extreme X KVM switch but is not 100% compatible with the old IOGear 2-Port MiniView GCS632U. On the GCS632U setup, the keyboard won't work on the PC. I have to unplug the USB connector and plug it directly into the PC. When I want to switch to the Mac, I plug it back into the KVM switch.)

    Superior keyboard in every way!

I keyboard all day long, 8-10 hours per day. The keys were wearing down on my Logitech Di Novo after 6 years of use and was looking for a new keyboard. Wanted one with less bulk, wireless, comfortable to type on like my di novo, and had an attached num pad - not two pieces like the di novo. I first tried the Logitech k800 Illuminated keyboard. Seemed to have it all plus option to work with the lights off. Found the keys 'plasticy' feeling with a key travel reminiscent of 1980's IBM keyboards. The batteries also wore out in on three days and needed recharging. The Di Novo batteries lasted up to a year for me. I then tried the Logitech wired illuminated keyboard. This keyboard is much thinner than it's wireless brother, which I loved, but couldn't deal with the wire flopping around my desk after years of no KB wires. Then I saw the new Logitech Solar keyboard on sale and gave that a try. This is the thinnest, most comfortable KB ever! Plus fits in my lapto roller for travel & no batteries! I love it and will keep it forever!!!

    Awesome keyboard by LOGITECH

Hi I just bought this keyboard yesterday and its doing good so far the only complaint I have is no indicator light. I mean why doesn't a keyboard this advanced have a indicator light for the caps lock and num lock but other then that its great to use. The key is kinda loud but I can live with it. The button to check the lighting around you is stupid, also once your connected with this kb you get an app installed on your PC and you can pick whether you wish to install it or not but its only a solar app so kinda useless to me as it only tells you how much battery you have left and whether your in good lighting or not.

Logitech K750 Wireless Keyboard w/Solar Power

@ Best Buy Product Administration & Consumers, I bought this Specific Logitech Keyboard on 11-22-20 @ 12:25p.m. Okay, now for the Real Technical Issues of this Wireless Keyboard w/Solar Powering it's own Rechargeable Battery at Least Amount of Light and or True Sun Light. I had left it On for minimum of Eight {8} Hours and Checked the Battery Level to the Point of the Very Little Amount of Discharging. This is a Big Advantage for Me and any Consumer who would like the Longevity out of the Battery Life. This Slimness is Another Plus with this Model and Sturdy including the QWERTY Board Keys. Loving the Clear Gloss Look with the Mirror Finish. It's Just Right for the Style of my Usage. I am Wishing that Logitech will Incorporate a Illuminating Keys later on for their New Model to become a Promising Product for the Future.

Best Keyboard I've had so far.

I would note that I use this keyboard with a desktop. The keys are nicely spaced, and easy to type on. Although the "legs" might be a bit "flimsy", I use it sittling on my lap. As such, it has served me well for the past month or so. The one and only negitive coment I would make is that there is no information provided with this product. In order to fully understand how to use it, I had to search out the information myself. This might be a "no-brainer" for folks more savvy then myself. But a little more then pictograms might have made it easier for me. It does indeed run on normal room lighting; as long as the light is close enough to the board. As I like the room well-lit, this has not been a problem for me. Fully charged; the batterys last for several hours of use. After that they might need 10 min. under a 60 watt light bulb. Going back to the lack of information provided with the product... well, the recharging of the batterys.... how much light you might need and for how long.... all that would have been a great thing to include with the package. Lastly, BestBuy was hands down the lowest price I had found for this item. P. S. I always turn off the Keyboard (there's an "on-off" switch) when not useing it. I think it might help hold a charge, though I honestly have no idea.

I purchased one of these almost 2 years ago and have been using it as my primary keyboard since. I like not having to replace batteries and it almost always indicates a 100% charge. It does show dirt and fingerprints more than other keyboards but that entices me to clean it more often. Considering how dirty my other keyboards would get until I finally cleaned them I don't see this as a problem. I purchased 8 more of these to use in my office conference rooms. I don't have to worry about batteries or keyboards being returned to their charging base. In over a year I've only had a couple of instances of lost connectivity compared to the myriad I had with my old Microsoft/Dell wireless. Solar charging means fewer batteries, less expense, less waste and they look cool.
