Great keyboard, works well and no difficulty maintaining 100 percent charge. Only possible improvement would be backlighting for keys, but because the keyboard is designed for use with a desktop other lighting options should be available.

Unit was packaged well even though box had a dent- the Solar was efficient even under fluorescent light. Store rep was willing to demo unit so I could see it was undamaged. linkup sequence worked as described and has been flawless

I have the windows version of this keyboard (which is the one you're looking at this review on) but i'm currently posting this review using the mac version of the same solor powered keyboard. These use very little power so it doesn't take my light to keep these charged. With the mac, i wasn't able to get the app working right to show me how "charged" the keyboard is, but thats ok because it has a happy and sad button over on the top right of the keyboard... when you press the button, if it lights up green then it's got great light and is doing well charging.. If it's red, it's not got enough light to charge itself up. On the windows version of this keyboard, when you hit that same button, it will bring up an app to show you how charged your keyboard is and the LUX rating that the solar panels are receiving and gives you an idea of how well it's charging... If you're curious about having to have this close to your window to get sunlight, you don't... There are times at night that i use my phone like a "lamp" on my desk and the phone provides enough light to make the keyboard show green when i press the happy/sad button. Depending on the brightness of my monitor, sometimes it can show up green just from the light that comes from the screen... All in all, these keyboards are great feeling, the keys are spaced out a bit more... To me, it's like typing on pillows... The keys are very well made, and the keyboard is well made as well..

I read the reviews before I gave this keyboard a try, and I don't know why some people didn't like it. After weeks of use, it still has a 100% charge. It is the sleekest, best made keyboard I've ever owned. Connectivity is easy and has never dropped even though I have the USB receiver plugged into a hub with several other devices. It looks like it belongs with a Mac.

I quite like this keyboard. The flexibility of wireless with the convenience of solar. Charges well off ambient light in a room I keep the blinds drawn most of the day. I also like the way the keys feel, very responsive and easy to use.

Over all, incredibly disappointed. Considered returning it. Which is a little bit depressing to me, as I was very excited to get this keyboard. This keyboard is NOT for heavy users from my experience. It goes berserk when the battery starts to die, typing a million extra letters. If you stick a light on it, say a flashlight, it'll work just fine again after a couple minutes. I have a very bright room that I'm using this in, and yet it didn't stay charged through several hours of use when I use it. I don't leave my lights on when I'm not in the room, however I expected this keyboard to be able to charge while you're using it... Not the case. It can't keep up if it's on while it's charging, even if you're not actually typing anything. As for the keyboard itself, the fact that I love it makes the above points even more frustrating. The size is not bad for in lap use, it's very light weight, and the keys are amazing. I love the keys you barely touch when typing, and the keys go above and beyond in that area. (Some might find them TOO sensitive, though. A slight miscalculation on finger placement would definitely add extra characters you didn't intend on.) The light that checks the battery level only works when the keyboard is on, which I find frustrating. It's a minor inconvenience, but still inconvenient. Also doesn't seem like it gets enough light, as it charges slowly in a well lit room. Over all, (TL;DR) If you're using it in a room you use when you're not using the computer, and especially if you're not a heavy user, this keyboard will probably work great for you. However, if you're a gamer or you spend long amounts of time at a time using your computer, I don't recommend this keyboard for you. (Which seems like exactly the people who would want a keyboard free of batteries, on my opinion)

I buy every client this combination of a solar keyboard and mouse, mainly because the keyboard never needs a battery and ambient light is more than enough to keep it charged.

Bought this keyboard to replace my keyboard that died. It was critical that the keys be in the same position as my old keyboard. This one had the identical key placement, but I was a little skeptical about the solar powered because my home office doesn’t get much natural light. So far this has not been a problem. I also love the feel of the keyboard! I would definitely recommend this and would buy it again.

Bought this without reading any reviews and very satisfied with this keyboard. So easy to connect to my mac and love the layout of the keyboard. Would recommend anyone looking for a keyboard, get this one.

This is actually my second one. My first one lasted years and never had to worry about the battery with the solar capability. My biggest takeaways are how low profile but soft the keys are. sitting in an office surrounded by people with large keys you hear nothing but the clicking all day. this keyboard is so much smoother and easier to type with speed on and not be thinking about the sound.

This keyboard has worked perfectly from the get go. I have had absolutely no problems with it and have found it responsive and sturdy. On a long typing day, I like to sit back in my chair and put the keyboard in my lap. Works great!

This is a great keyboard. It's wireless that comes with a small USB connector allowing the keyboard to communicate (to the computer, laptop, etc--and works well with it connected to my laptop docking station). The keyboard also has a couple cool features: 1) an on/off button that allows you to ensure you're not wasting any juice--love that! and 2) It allows you to see if you're getting enough light (via a keyboard & software add-on) to charge it/keep it charged. Also, typing on it is quiet & the tactile feel is great. Overall, it's a great buy.

This is the second purchase of this keyboard. After many years of my youngest grandson coming to visit, using the keyboard while eating and my use of wearing the letters off of various keys, I chose to buy the same keyboard again. It works for me, is easy to use and the solar power is not a problem for me since I have a bright light at my work area which keeps the board ready for use whenever I need it.

This keyboard does its job, period. I haven't had any issues with losing the connection between it and my computer, and it seemingly is able to charge via sunlight with no issues. It's a good keyboard, what else is there to say?

Was getting tired of replacing the AA batteries in my Apple Magic Keyboard and was on the search for a rechargeable keyboard of some sort. Saw the Apple Magic Keyboard 2 but was put off by the $120 price tag. Came across this gem of a product and was instantly sold by the technology and price. Have been using it for a couple months and absolutely love it. Never have to turn it off or worry about batteries again! Solid build quality and its nice to have the number pad as well. A+ Logitech!

Very good keyboard, the keys are very comfortable and easy to type on. The only reason for the four star is the shinny black covering that absorbs finger print and has to be cleaned constantly, it also is very prone to scratch even with the cloth that was provided in the box.

This keyboard was easy to install and automatically paired with my machine. I primarily bought it since the standard wireless keyboard for the Mac does not have a keypad.

I've had this keyboard for over 6 months and really like it. I replaced the standard computer keyboard with this one because my cat kept laying on the corded keyboard. With this wireless keyboard, I can move it before he actually lays down. The solar power works quite well even if you don't have constant light on the keyboard. It is very comfortable to use.

So far I have been very happy with this keyboard. My one concern is that it is on a shelve that slides under the computer desk and I am concerned that since it is solar will get get enough light to maintain the charge. so far it has worked perfectly.
