Love this keyboard! Works great with my Mac. I would highly recommend this to anyone that doesn’t want to spend the money on an actual Apple keyboard

If you were like me & was getting annoyed replacing batteries for your wireless keyboard, then this is the product for you. My keyboard is placed in an area where there is not much natural light, but there are no issues on the unit getting recharged. For my Win 8.1 PC, I had to install the driver first before using the unit - would have preferred if it was just a simple plug & play, but installing the driver was simple. The design of the unit can be subjective - some might find it simple & elegant. I personally think it is a bit bland & feels a tad plasticky. But it is a very practical unit & the great convenience of not worrying about having replacement batteries near by is good enough for me

I needed a keyboard to use remotely with my macbook pro when I have it on the big presentation screen at work. I like this keyboard so much I think I should buy one for every mac in our offices. Wait, that's too many, maybe a few at a time. It is a little pricey after all.

This keyboard was very easy to setup, just plug in the usb receiver and turn on the keyboard. Very good feel to the keys and battery seems to last very long. Would buy this product and recommend !

    Best Keyboard Ever

This is my favorite keyboard ever! I can't be more emphatic about how perfect it is. The solar panel keeps you from having to recharge it or add batteries as it charges constantly—as long as it's being supplied with light. It's not too 'clicky' and it isn't too compact either—including a number pad in addition to keys that aren't totally mashed together. I have only positive remarks to make about this keyboard. Honestly, if you're thinking about getting it, dooooo it.

A wireless keyboard you never have to charge! The solar app tells you how much lux your keyboard is getting, and how much reserve power your keyboard has. I don't think I've ever dropped below 100% charge. The keyboard does not need a whole lot of light, and they claim it can go days in total darkness.

Very good spacing of keys, great touch. Being solar powered I thought that may be a problem where I use it with only fluorescent lighting but it seems to work all the time I use it. Also I use it with my Ham Radio programs and my transmitter never bothers the keyboard wireless connection. Great product!

Wonderful device with better performance and lower price point than the Apple wireless keyboard. Better design, no need to replace batteries all of the time, and very quick keystroke reaction time.

After about a month of using this keyboard it appears to be working well. It hasn't disconnect from my Imac at all. No batteries to change, so I'm pretty happy with this product.

cons Not ideal for gaming. It lags a bit when you type. If you are a fast typer you won't like it. Pros I love that I can store it by my couch and don't have any wires going across the room. I use it for across the room use At least a 7ft range. It's great when I'm on my computer and using the tv as a screen.. Indoor lighting keep it working with no problems.

I have a Logitech K811, the keys are spaced a little too close for touchtyping. I also have a Logitech K800, but it is not Mac-specific. I want a Mac-specific Logitech 10-keypad-less keyboard with the keys spaced the same as a full-sized keyboard, ideally backlit, wireless, and rechargeable via micro-USB. (10-keypad-less mechanical keyboards that I've seen for gamers are not Mac-specific and are corded.) Since I could not find my Holy Grail, Logitech K750 for Mac was a pretty good substitute especially since it was on sale. It still has the 10 keypad and is wider than I like. It is not backlit, but since I touchtype this is not such a big deal for me. Setting the keyboard out to get some sun is a minor inconvenience, but I've not run out out of power yet.

The first time I got it back home I was happy to have an environmentally friendly keyboard. It was nice to know that I wouldn't be needing any batteries (except for the battery inside that should be recharging) since it has its built in solar panels. The first week I was religiously putting it right next to the window and was keeping the percentage of the battery for about 95% to 100%.... I thought that it was so easy to charge them so I let my OC-ness go for a bit and did not charge it for a few weeks.. recently i noticed it going down to 82%.. so i told myself.. well maybe it's time to just leave it at the window.. to my surprise. i tried leaving it by the window overnight so that by the time the sun comes it will be able to charge.. also did it during the afternoon.. I wasn't seeing any increase on the percentage bar.. so I tried putting it outside on our patio and left it there for several hours.. i did this for 2 days but only got up until 89%... 2 days of several hours out in direct sunlight.. that got me researching more online & found out that there others like me who did the exact same thing. based on research the 100% will allow me to have power on my keyboard w/o recharging for 3 months.. but after that it's anyone's game.. and there's also a chance that it might not charge so well and you would have to "replace" the battery based on the FAQ on logitech site. the battery that u would need can only be purchased from their website. That's when I decided to return this to BestBuy and got me the Logitech MK520 instead. yes it's powered by AAA batteries but at least I don't have to go crazy and keep bringing my keyboard out in the patio and get minimal results. i don't think i'll be able to take it. If you're home office table is right next to the window then this might work for you. My window is about 5ft away from the table. Ambient light doesn't work.. it will only help in slowing down the use of the battery i guess.. yes, i also tried having the lamp directed to the keyboard.. it shows on the bar that it's good lighting.. but don't 'see any changes on my battery percentage level.. so like i said, i'm not going to go crazy over trying to get it charged. i think i'm fine with buying AAA batteries and just remember to put it in a recycling bin for batteries.
