Out of the box the keyboard would not turn on - even after connecting via cable. After a bit of time with a volt meter I discovered the rechargeable batteries were bad. Popped in a new set of Energizer Rechargeables and it was up and running in no time - I'm sure I voided the warranty along the way... After doing a Google search on the keyboard I discovered that I am only one of many to suffer this problem. Shame on Logitech for not correcting this; hence only four stars. I've owned several Logitech products and this is the first problem I've encountered in more than 20 years. I do recommend the keyboard and would only caution a buyer to have customer service at the store check the batteries before purchasing.

one of the staff examined the keyboard purchsed a couple of months prior and found that it had to be charged. When I bought same as cordless I did not know nor, was there any other parts in the box to charge a keyboard. Now I have to live with a wired one that I wanted to get away from. Your tech, was most helpful and managed to get a charger for me. and explained it. Many thanks/ Marty

Great keyboard for daily use! I specifically wanted the illuminated keys based on where on the desk it is placed and for when I lower the lighting in the office. I replaced a similar Logitech keyboard that had been used for several years and because the printed letters on the keys were wearing off.

I work in low light and this keyboard helps me find the keys in any lighting situation. I Love it.

A very agile and nimble keyboard thst works perfectly between systems and with the affiliate branded mouse ADDED VALUE: You switch between systems using this. Make sure you get the model with the angled rubber block. Great relief for your hands I’ve been buying mice and keyboards since the 1980s. They have a niche and they make a quality product

This is a wonderful product. The keyboard lights up with me just placing my hands over the keyboard.

This keyboard is exactly what I've been looking for. It's quiet keystrokes make typing a pleasure. The backlit keys make typing very easy in dim light. And the unifying receiver allows me to connect multiple devices with one USB port, which frees up the remaining USB ports for other accessory connections. This is the best keyboard I have ever used and I am completely satisfied. Thanks Logitech for a job well done.
