The Best Keyboard Ever!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best keyboard I have ever used. I'm 65 years old and have been using computers since 1977. It has illuminated, backlit keys that make it easy to use in low light situations. Tactile feedback is excellent and it's relatively quiet compared to other keyboards I've used. It's battery operated and cordless which makes it easy to position on your desktop or in your lap, and it can charge from USB which makes a separate charger unnecessary - just charge it right from the computer! I like it so much I bought a second one!

Just what I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a back-lit keyboard on my laptop and thought it was the best, so I went on the hunt for one for my desktop as well. I didn't care for the overhead light at night on my desk, but I couldn't see the keys on the keyboard without one. Of all the keyboards I found with this feature, this is the best yet. Not only is the keyboard lit up, it is extremely soft and quiet to the touch., and much quieter than most keyboards that I found. I love the on and off button, as well as the USB port that conserves the battery. This keyboard could last forever. I am SUPER happy with this purchase. I purchased two of them for both my desktops. I also put on a Geek Squad warranty to guarantee a good LONG and happy experience with it.

Lighted keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this a lot! Instant on as soon as my hand approaches the board with light level that is easy to read but nopt too bright or harsh. Has only white as a color choice. Battery has been going strong on one charge for two weeks and indicator says I still have plenty of charge left. It turns itself off quickly when you are not touching it which saves the battery but is a bit disconcerting to have it light-up every time I reach back to touch it. It has the requisite function buttons to control the system from the keyboard and is nice and slim but with a large footprint that I like since I have big fingers. Paired with my system seamlessly via bluetooth. An enjoyably addition to my system.

Fantastic!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Man this is one fantastic keyboard. I love the motion sensor that senses your hands near the keyboard and turns the backlighting on or off. It certainly saves your charge. Also great that you have not only a usb charging cable, but an extra cable for longer length, too. Keyboard also has great wireless range and has worked flawlessly so far.

Great all around keyboard
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for use at a home work/gaming computer, mainly work. Works well, keystrokes feel nice and smooth. Lighting is bright enough in total dark and not blinding since can adjust.

As good as people say
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very comfortable keyboard with great key travel and spacing. The backlight feature is a nice bonus, but was not the main reason I got this. I'm able to type more comfortably and accurately than on my stock PC keyboard (Dell). It's also very quiet which is nice in my home office. The keyboard has a built-in rechargeable battery which lasts for several weeks. When it does need a charge, you can use a standard micro USB cable plugged into the PC or an external charger. The keyboard comes with the cable, but not the charger. In a pinch, you could remove the battery compartment door and recharge the batteries using an external AA charger. However, it's much simpler to leave it in place and charge the keyboard while still using it.

Love the illumination fetaure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used a few logitech keyboards and have enjoyed the feel. I've been adding some LED lighting to my desk setup so upgrading to the illuminating model fit my theme. I have only charged the unit once when I first got it and I am still at full battery power with small amounts of typing daily although I do turn it on everyday. Good item.

Best Wireless Keyboard I've Bought To Date
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is arguably one of the best, if not the best, wireless keyboard I've bought to date. It has a very quick response time and the fact that you don't need batteries for it is an additional perk. It plugs in to your USB hub if you need to recharge it or you can leave it wired for constant power. The battery life on it is astounding.

If you type a great deal, this keyboard is for you
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great keyboard and I believe it's the third Logitech keyboard that I've purchased over the years. I do A LOT OF TYPING and after (literally) millions of keystrokes, these are definitely workhorses. I think the feature I like the best is that the keys are so smooth - there are no rough edges and your fingers glide over them like petting a kitty. Maybe not as soft, but certainly more productive. Additionally, I like the fact that it's back-lit. I didn't buy it for that reason, but now that I have it I find it valuable - especially when I don't want to turn all the lights on in my office.

Favorite keyboard ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own more than one of these. One at home and at work. The batteries last way longer between charges than you'd expect. After others at the office saw mine it became a hit with a few people. You can program quite a bit of the various functions too. After nearly 40 yrs of being an IT professional, this has easily become my favorite keyboard ever.

Great Illuminated Keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been looking at all the illuminated keyboards out there for a while with this one always in the back of my mind. I like the Logitech brand as a whole having a few of their products like speakers and remotes. The price was always too high I thought. It went on sale so I snapped up two of them. First reaction was the key stroke feel. My old keyboards being Microsoft ones were a very noisy plastic sound and mechanical. The Logitech is a softer sound ... a somewhat organic feel if that makes any sense. There is no "key rattle" with your fingers just resting on the keys. Second was the illumination which has taken a bit to get used to. I left it to the default settings so what happens is when your hand goes over the keyboard it lights up. Then, with no activity, they turn off to conserve battery life. Move your hands back on and they are back on. I think I would prefer them to have a switch to just turn them on for each session ... which I believe you can do in the settings. The glow is nice, colors would be a nice option, and brightness is controllable. It's a full keyboard with a calculator button which I've always liked, a nice palm rest on the bottom, and a keyboard tilt adjustment. Battery life seems to be pretty good with the default settings as I have yet to charge it after a few months. I'm sure changing the illumation to brighter and "on" longer will shorten that life. All in all a worthy keyboard.

great keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i bought two of these. you have to charge via USB but it operates a long time without it. I am a software consultant and type ALOT during the day. Charge holds i think about 2 weeks. I never turn the keyboard off. Also, coupled it wit the Logitech smart receiver for my mouse. so the mouse and keyboard work off of 1 usb. very nice.

Good Keyboard for Darker Office
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up this keyboard to replace my K750 solar-powered keyboard. The K750 worked pretty well for awhile with infrequent use, but then wouldn't charge up enough with heavier use (even replaced the battery; it was a light problem, not a keyboard problem). I liked the amount of feedback/resistance of the K750 (closer to a laptop keyboard), so that was a key feature. The K800 is close but with a bit more resistance, which I ended up liking better. The illumination feature is great; the keyboard lights up when you put your hands near it and shuts off automatically, so you don't have to worry about flipping a switch on to use, or off to save the battery. With the unifying receiver, keyboard is very easy to pair and set up in the Logitech software. Battery still seems to have a good charge even with a lot of use; only one bar down on the battery indicator. Took off one star because I had to mash the Backspace button to keep it from sticking right out of the box. Otherwise, quality is what you would expect from Logitech.
