I had an older K800 which lasted for many years. I liked the back-lit keys, the smooth, soft touch and quiet operation Appreciated the clean, simple, straight-forward aesthetics, which goes well with my modern-minimalist preference. The old keyboard finally gave out so I bought a new one at Best Buy. After a month, the battery wouldn’t hold a full charge. I returned it to Best Buy and they gave me a replacement, no questions asked. I was in and out of the store in three minutes. Appreciated the quick, no-hassle service.

Almost a month later and its still full charge even with daily use. Good range & perfect backlight with auto-dimming. Keys feel like laptop keys & are nice & clicky.

I love this backlit keyboard from Logitech. Actually this is my second one because I had originally purchased the same keyboard a couple of years ago for my desktop computer. I decided to get a second one for my laptop as I do a lot of typing for work and moving the keyboard from one computer to another was getting old.

well originally wasn't going to get a keyboard when I bought my tower (the CyberPower PC, but my friend suggested this keyboard. and i would like to say, no regrets. the keyboard has been running for about a month now and I haven't even had to recharge it yet, also haven't turned it off. so very good life on battery so far. it lights up so I don't need to keep a light on to bother my partner late at night. now the real test will be months later on how well the letters stay on the keyboard and don't wear off. over all, I would say very nicely done to a company I expect no less of. the Logitech brand is known for longevity and durability of their products.

We purchased a new home desktop (replacing a ten year old HP!) and monitor, and decided to get a new keyboard, even though one was included with the purchased CPU. In looking at/trying out keyboards prior to purchasing the computer, this Logitech K800one definitely stood out among the many I tried. The soft touch keyboard feels so much better than my old clunky one, so easy to type, and the fact that it is illuminated has been great for working in low light. I have a feeling I will want to keep this one for a very long time. Would definitely recommend to others!

Just feels right.. Backlit and wireless.. Perfect.

I haven't charged this keyboard since I pulled it out of the box over a month ago and it still shows over 70% battery. Which is fine because it's rechargeable! It's sort of heavy, which makes it feel very well built. The back light is excellent for night time use, and it has the option to be turned on via motion detection. Really cool if you ask me. It only lights up when your hands are over the keyboard. The keys are pretty low profile, quiet, indented, and offer a very sleek use. Just like the mouse I purchased at the same time, the logitech unifying software works without a hitch.

This keyboard is nice! When it senses your hands going near it, it automatically illuminates the keys. The internal battery is a beast! I only need to charge mine about once a month. The keys feel nice too-like the perfect amount of tension when you push down on them. The quality of this keyboard is unrivaled. In fact, the second best keyboard on the market doesn't even come close to this one. I never write reviews, but this thing deserves praise. I've have had many keyboards over the years and I'm telling you, the thing is awesome!!!

The illumination on this keyboard is great! The keys are a nice size and easy to use. I just wish I didn't have to remember to turn it off after I've turned off the computer. I highly recommend this product.

Just what I needed! My 1 1/2 year old Lenovo laptop does not have a backlit keyboard so typing when the room is dim makes typing a challenge. Enter the Logitech K800 Wireless Illuminated Keyboard. What a difference is has made. I love that the keyboard lights up when my fingers get near a key. When I remove my hand the back light goes off to save the battery. It charged in no time at all and I was ready to type to my heart's content and see the keys! A great concept!

I''m on my computer late afternoon and late at night. It's great not to have to turn on a lamp to see the keys. Also, the long battery life (time between charges) took me by surprise, I'm a gamer and thought the battery life would be short . I liked this keyboard so much that I bought my wife one for her computer.

I really enjoy the backlit keyboard. It comes on when a sensor perceives your hands nearing the keyboard. Really cool. The action on the keys is better than expected. Rechargeable battery for the wireless.

This keyboard is the most comfortable thing that I've ever used. The keys are very quiet, and the backlight feature is a bonus. You do have to charge it with the included USB cable but I use a rapid charger when I don't need the keyboard for a few hours. It holds a charge for a very long time, even if you use it a lot. You can turn it off if you want but I never do. I recommend getting the protection plan because my last K800 began to malfunction. Best Buy was awesome about it and gave me a new keyboard right off the shelf.

Good value for a full size keyboard. Charge lasts quite awhile, and recharges quickly. Being back lit is really nice. I teetered between the MX, and this one. I have two K800's for now. Get into your local BB, and type away on both. For some it's all about key travel/stroke/depth. The ergo friendly front palm rest is also a really big plus. If they had it on the MX, I might be reviewing that one instead of the K800. That alone is was the difference maker for me.

This is a great keyboard. It comes with rechargeable batteries - don't be put off by the fact that you have to plug it in to recharge, since keyboards don't move around like a mouse where the wire gets in the way. You can disconnect it, and there are 3 lights that indicate power left so you know when to recharge - I've never disconnected mine. The illumination is excellent, adjustable, goes off when not used and instantly on when touched (or proximity, but that seems moot, just touch a key) The tough is logitech-excellent, and silent.

If there was a perfect keyboard, for me, this would be it. Backlit keyboard, flat and quiet keys. Once the software is installed you have the option to adjust how long the backlight is illuminated. The only downside is that this model does not come with a wireless mouse, but I've found the Logitech M705 wireless mouse is perfectly compatible--and if you download the unifying software, the wireless mouse unifier will sync with the keyboard. Couldn't get the wireless keyboard unifier to sync with the wireless mouse unifier.

Good key feel, long battery life (cable provided to recharge from your USB port when needed. Auto senses when hands are near and turns on backlit keys for you. Great for gaming in low light rooms.

After several years my Logitech 520 started giving me problems. Was very satisfied with it and actually got another for my wife as I built her new computer. As I upgraded mine, almost got a 520 but saw this K800 on sale. Decided to step up and glad I did. Keys are much smoother and quieter. Also haven't had to recharge the battery yet which was a concern. Unlike the 529, it had an internal battery with usb charging cable ratherr than the throw-away AA. Looks like you get what you pay for and well worth the extra.

Wireless, illuminated (adjustable), adjust computer settings by touching the corresponding key (across the top) I'm glad I purchased i and would recommend it to others.

For the dollar, this is the best wireless keyboard I can find. The leys light up, which is great because I can use it at night without having to turn on lights. It has a number pad, all the main buttons of a regular keyboard. Its light-weight, and the battery lasts a long time before it needs recharged. This is actually my second one, since I spilled a drink on the other one and some of the keys were inopperable (my fault). I HIGHLY recommend this for someone that needs a versatile wireless keyboard with no gimmicks.
