This is a great low profile, backlit wireless keyboard. The keys remain dark until your fingers are sensed close to the keyboard, at which time they become backlit. I love this so much more than my old keyboard, and one less wire to become caught or tangled.

Nice keyboard for anyone wanting light-up keys. Keys dim out quickly if you are not using the keyboard and light up again when using it. Connects via USB. Rechargeable battery is supposed to last a long time. Keys are silent-type with short to medium travel. Built in wrist rest. Logitech has other keyboards to consider if you don't need the keys to light up. However, if you need to see the keys, especially in a dim room, this works great.

My computer is not in a very well lit part of the house. This keyboard lights up with the slightest touch and allows me to keep typing without getting up and turning the light up. It's comfortable, the keys are easy to type on, and it's also thin and stylish.

This keyboard is excellent, the soft touch keys respond well and the back lighting is really handy in a dim room, easy set up, couldn't be happier.

All my computers have this keyboard, the back lighting is really great for late night typing or gaming and the keys have a very positive feel to them. Wireless keyboards I've had in the past had a slight response lag which made them terrible for gaming, but this one doesn't seem to have that issue provided the receiver is close by and has a direct line-of-sight. I've paired it with a Logitech MX518 and this combo is perfect for my gaming needs.

This keyboard is great, much better than I expected. Its just the right size to begin with and the weight is perfect, its just a little heaver than most wireless keyboards. It gives it a feeling of quality. It's also re-chargeable, never needs batteries. Its good for about a week or more depending on use. When it gets low you plug it in to the USB on your computer and it charges while you're using it. It never runs out of power. The best part is it lights up at night and you can really see the keys, its not just a low glow like most..

Great battery life and key sensitivity. The illuminated keys are a bonus. Note: After 2 years one of the keys would not work, but I liked it so much that I bought another one to replace the first. I'm hopeful this key issue will not happen again.

Works great. Keys don't stay lit unless it detects motion, which is perfect. Needs charged with the provided usb cable, and battery lasts couple weeks without recharging. Option to set brightness level is great as well. Highly recommended. Pricey for a keyboard, but it's really the only viable option out there for a business kine keyboard. It's a Logitech, which generally produces high quality peripherals.

I love this keyboard. My computer is a Sony all-in-one and this keyboard is a replacement for the one that came with my computer originally. The backlit feature makes it even better. Only thing I wish is that it connected without the usb like my old one did, since my computer only has 2 usb slots. I already use one for my mouse. Other than that, it's a great purchase!

This keyboard is nice & quiet & the keys are so easy to the touch, quick response & I love the illuminated keys as I am in a area where it is dark alot of the time. The extra keys are also nice for e-mail, music, shutting down & internet search.

I was looking for an illuminated keyboard that was full size and comfortable to use. This keyboard exceeds on all counts. Supremely comfortable for typing and with large evenly spaced keys, my large hands are quite comfortable typing for long periods. The illumination is excellent and activated by proximity, so it doesn't just wear down the built in rechargeable batteries all the time. the charge lasts for a good week easy and I have had no problems at all with this purchase. I would highly recommend this keyboard!

This keyboard has a very high quality feel. It is fairly liquid resistant. Small amounts of things have been splashed on it several times over the years. It's very quiet while typing, and the travel is just right. The keys don't jiggle at all. The back light is adjustable and turns off when not in use. The light comes back on when you pass your hand over the right spot, so you don't have to press a key to turn it back on. The battery lasts a long time. The range is pretty good. The shortcut keys are well layed out. This is the second one I have purchased. It got four stars because when the first one failed random keys across the board failed right at the end of the warranty. At first I thought it was software, but after some trouble shooting,I realized it had a hardware problem.

The screen is more colorful with the lights dimmed in the room, and that makes it harder to see the keyboard, but this is the perfect solution for me to see my typing. The keyboard is also very responsive, and easy to type on. I'm glad you sell it.

This keyboard lights up as soon as you put your hands over the keyboard, which allows you to see in the dark. I couldn't find another wireless keyboard that had the led back light feature.

I needed a new keyboard and I have wrist issues so I tried a lot of them since I would be using it for work. I tried most of the Logitech keyboards (e.g., mx keys, ergo, mk540, and others) and several other brands and it came down to this one and the K740, which is the wired version, because I found them to be the most comfortable and I like the feel of the keys. They were the same price so I went with the k800 because it is wireless, the keys feel the same but are quieter than the K740, and it works with Logitech Options, which the K740 does not. I haven't had it long enough to be able to speak about battery life but I'm not too concerned. I would have preferred normal batteries that would last a long time like some of their other keyboards. I don't really need it to be wireless so I haven't decided if I would just leave it plugged in or not. I haven't had any connectivity or latency issues. It comes with a USB extension cable which is nice to have. I have it plugged into my laptop dock and sitting in the keyboard tray to avoid interference. One thing I don't like is that it doesn't seem to remember the brightness settings I last used when I turn it off and turn it back on. Also, the built in palm rest is pure plastic. The K740 has a nicer rubber/velvety one that I prefer. Overall, I highly recommend it if you are looking for a comfortable keyboard where the tactile and feel of the keys are great.

Love the feel of this keyboard. It is also great that is is rechargeable. It eventually loses some battery life but as long as you have the charger nearby it isn't an issue. I've been using mine for two and a half years with no issues. Also works better if you download Logi Options+ and customize settings the way you want them.

I was hesitant to purchase this keyboard due to the price tag. The price dropped and I decided to jump on it. I only wish I had done it sooner! My draw to the keyboard was that fact it is illuminated. What I didn't expect was how comfortable the keyboard is to use! The keys are so nice a smooth and the pressing of the keys just feels natural. I also like the fact that is is not over loud as some keyboards can be. I have also been blown away by the battery life. After three full weeks of use, I still showed two bars of battery left. The only way this keyboard could be better were if there were some multimedia keys for play/pause, skip forward, and skip back that didn't require also pressing the "FN" key. This is not a huge deal, but I did like the dedicated buttons on my previous keyboard. The keyboard is worth the price!

I use this keyboard when me laptop is one its stand on my desk. It is very comfortable to use, and I like the build-in wrist wrest. The batteries hold their charge for a long time, and it recharges quickly. No regrets in purchasing this.

I spend a lot of time on the phone with a headset at my computer and there is nothing more annoying than hearing someone's keyboard while they are on the phone. This keyboard is quiet and it's back lit keys are very handy in low light.
