    Nice feel but battery life SUCKS

    This is a very nice keyboard and even on the lowest settings the keys are very well lit but the battery life is far less than I would have expected coming from a Logitech device.

    Hard Plastic edge is razor sharp and can cut you :/ it is a safety hazard and should be removed . The keyboard feet are too short to get desired tilt and they do not adjust or lock in place causing them to flop around and require continual adjustment wile working. Poor design, lacks quality control. I love my Logictech K360 and had expected this product would be more like it. If not for COVID-19 shelter-in-place I would return it but need a keyboard to work from home.

    JUNK. 2nd one; battery doesn't last a day. Garbage. They should have left the replaceable battery in it. If they were going to go to non replaceable they should have spent two bucks to make it large enough. Instead the cheap people at Logitech put in whatever fit and glued a plastic cover over it. BTW. The keyboard is nice if you leave the USB charger plugged in. But, then, WHY WOULD YOU NEED WIRELESS?

    Recharges well, lighted keys are nice...

    BUT, it keeps throwing multiple random line-feeds (Enters) all by itself. I have used Logitech input devices for a couple of decades, and this is the first one that has given me any trouble at all.

    Keyboard is comfortable and types well. Has connection problems. Dropped connection often in the middle typing. Had to wait to reconnect.

I have attached a link to the Logitech support page. Please download the “SetPoint” software for best performance and customization options. I also recommend running the “Firmware Update Tool” to ensure the USB receiver has the latest updates. If you are still experiencing issues, I recommend using the “Unifying” software to reestablish the connection between the K800 keyboard and Unifying USB receiver.     I've bought 3 of these items from 3 differents sources, Best Buy, Newegg, and TigerDirect. Each time they work GREAT for anywhere from a week (The one bought at Best Buy), Newegg one lasted 4 months, and tiger direct one lasted 2 months. When it works it works flawlessly but it will break so easily or just glitch out and die out of nowhere. Be careful, Logitech seems to be going downhill with their products.

    Space bar stopped working. Other key buttons would sometimes not work. Replaced with different brand.

    I am a year into owning 2 of these keyboards and am extremely disappointed. One has "decent" battery life, but the other needs to be recharged weekly. For whatever reason, the Logitech Options application on macOS does not detect keyboard which compounds battery life issues because you cannot change backlight mode to "on key press" versus using prox sensor. This is possible in Windows.

      Hello. Thank you for taking the time to write your review of the K800 keyboard. I'm sorry you're unhappy with the battery life of the 2 keyboards you own. The battery usually lasts about 10 days between charges when new. Like most rechargeable batteries, they only have a certain amount of charges in them and each time you recharge it, the battery life lessens a little. As for the MacOS issue, since it is a Windows keyboard, the Mac does not have access to the full capabilities of the Windows app. Please visit our support site for more help: support.logi.com

    I had to return this keyboard 3 times before I received one that the keys didn't fall off after 20 minutes of use. I was pretty disappointed with the purchase.

    Hello, The Logitech K800 is truly one of the best additions to my PC Peripheral Collection perhaps ever. Since switching from a Macbook Pro to an Asus K53e Notebook, I have been without an Illuminated Keyboard for my Notebook. As Backlighting is almost universally reserved for quite expensive Notebooks and Desktops, at 99 Dollars, the K800 is an excellent way to add this feature to both in a relatively cost effective manner.. Initial Setup could not have been easier on both by Desktop and Notebook with the necessary Drivers being easily and automatically installed after inserting the USB Input,, The K800 does come with a Disc of Drivers/Software for Computers where this is needed. However, I have not needed it with my Windows 7 PC's. In addition, Battery Life has been amazing. I have not needed to charge the Keyboard in around 2 Weeks which for a Fully Illuminated Keyboard is truly impressive, Note, you change the Illumination Level with the press of a button. I have used the Default Setting. I can only imagine how long it lasts if used darker. The Ergonomics are excellent as well. This truly might be the easiest to type on Keyboard I have ever used. Just a very comfortable Keyboard. I usually can easily find faults in products, but I would be disingenuous to do so here, While not inexpensive, the K800 is truly money well spent. Cheers, JJ

    Horrible Product

    Gulfport , Ms, Horrible. After 45 days it started malfunctioning. As you are typing it runs away with the letters creating multiple so you have to go back and delete. It will not stay wireless either. Unable to rreturn as my 30 days is up. 60.00 down the drain. I do not recomend this product at all.

      Hello cdunk, we are so sorry to hear that the K800 keyboard did not meet your expectations. A lot of misunderstanding with the K800 keyboard, is that it is a rechargeable keyboard. When you purchased it, in the box, it came with a charging cable. Use that to charge your device. From the issues you mentioned, it sounds like your keyboard is just out of charge and needs to be recharged. Once charged, It'll go back to working perfectly.     Control Key Not Working

    I used this keyboard at work for 5 days. The control key on the left side started sticking and then would not longer work by Friday. I use this key constantly in spreadsheets and using the control key on the right side is not efficient. My keyboard has heavy use and just to not hold up even a week. To make matters worse, I am one day too late in returning this item. I am now out the money and a keyboard for work!

    Malfunctioned after a week

    I really enjoyed this keyboard at first. I liked the look, the feel. Sadly, after about one week of use, it started malfunctioning. The keys would not type their assigned characters. The M key toggled the Caps Lock off and on. The Y would write out yol. The 6 came out as i. It was a mess. I googled the problem and apparently this is fairly common. There are a few remedies I will try though I am half tempted to just return it.

    I have had this for about two weeks. Two days ago the keyboard simply stopped working, will not type a letter. Fully charged, connected appropriately, keyboard lights up but upon striking keys absolutely nothing happens. I have unplugged, reset etc....nothing! Well almost two weeks of use...not worth the money or aggravation. My computer states "working properly"....not!

    Don't care for this. Does not use regular batteries and needs to be recharged often....might as well leave it plugged in! Aslo...it does not come with a mouse.

    Set everything up, plugged in USB cable to charge, get a flashing red light. After 4 hours still flashing. Battery voltages are less than 0.3 volts, so not charged, or charging. Batteries are Panasonic so expect them to work. Substituted, as a test, 2 AA. Keyboard works fine. So either both batteries are dead, shorted, or the charging circuit is dead. Will now have to purchase 2 rechargeable NiMH batteries and try again and hope clearly work or ail before return period is up.
