Unexpected Delight
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a bad day, spilt coffee all over myself and my previous wireless keyboard at the office. So I had to buy a new one in a hurry to do my job. Purchased the Logitech K800 after seeing it at Best Buy (thought it looked nice). This keyboard was so much nicer; I changed it out for my home keyboard. After a few days, I had to get one for the office as well. Keyboard is still on 2 of three bars after a week use (USB rechargeable) Keys feel great when typing (hard to explain, but I never really cared about this before – Sort of like being happy with a ford until you drive an Audi for the first time) Simple to connect and use I now own two of these (one for my home office and one for my office) The only regret is that I didn’t buy one of these keyboards for the home entertainment server.

Perfect KB for HTPC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this keyboard specifically for my HTPC. I can't find fault with it. One reviewer stated that he wanted the back light on all the time if a certain darkness was met, but for my usage, it is perfect. When I'm not using it, i put it on its side against my couch and the light goes off after a few seconds; picking it up, the KB is illuminated before i even touch it. On the box, it listed the battery life to be 10 days. I charged it up fully and haven't needed to charge it yet. I have been using it for over a month and the battery is still 2/3, remember, HTPC usage; of the 5 total brightness levels from off to full, I keep it in the middle. I'm glad that there wasn't a mouse included, as I was able to select a mouse of my choosing (another nano receiver device, of course). The synergy is simply perfect. Handy tip: if using this in your living room, use the included USB extension cable to place the receiver over any coffee table you may have in the way to get the best reception possible; top shelf of my entertainment center works for me.

The BEST I have ever used - I love this Keyboard!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fortunately for me, I had purchased one of these units about a year ago, so I had already tested it to the MAX. I am typing my review on it right now, so I can tell you that this is one of the nicest keyboards I have ever used. The feel is smooth and fairly quick (if you are a fast typist like myself typing about 80 words a minute, it will slow you down until you get used to it, but eventually I adjusted to it). It also has the 10 key number-pad, as well as extra buttons for various Windows functions. The back-lighting is fantastic because it will adjust toe the light of the room. As I type, it is about Noon in my room and the lighting is very low. It lights the 'white' part of the letters, so even in daylight, it helps you to see the letters clearly. The 'rechargeable' batteries are included and hold a charge for weeks at a time, and I leave this unit on continuously. It will power down automatically after about 10 seconds of non-use. It comes back immediately once you touch any part of the top panel. It comes with 2 different cables so you can charge it with your USB port, or use it 'hot-wired' to the computer without using a button. I use mine with the button in the USB port, so there are no wires. I plug it in about once a month to charge up the batteries. I can even access the BIOS (first boot screen) on my All-in-One desktop with this keyboard. It is found as soon as you boot up the computer. I love this keyboard, as you may have guessed, and would recommend it to anyone. It is worth the price if you are on your computer for a great deal of time.

Great keyboard, low power consumption
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this keyboard for 11 months now and had no problems with it. It worked under Win8 and now with Win 10. I am also using it with the Unifying USB plug (included) and have a Logitech mouse (not included) connected. The keyboard's battery (built-in) can be charged with the USB cable that comes with the keyboard. I charged the keyboard every few months, so, the power consumption is low. The backlit keyboard turns on when my hands comes close, not even a touch seems to be required. I am happy with that purchase. That's basically all I can tell.

Some light!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 4th back lit keyboard and I like it and..... even need it. It works very well if the eyesight gets poor and you refuse to wear glasses. Having the possibility to charge the batteries is wonderful. Controlling the settings (choice of standard keys etc.) makes life easy. I wouldn't want any other keyboard for work or private.

this thing is great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I choose this keyboad mainly because of the illuminated keys, but after using it I've noticed how I like it's features and how the look and feel is too. what's cool about this keyboard is you can change the brightness of the keys on the fly or even turn the back-lighting off completely. another cool thing is that it has a touch sensor that makes the keys light up when it hasn't been in use for a while. I don't use all of the F keys but I do like that they're their for my convenience. the battery life is pretty good and lasts longer of course if you don't have the brightness so high all the time which in my opinion isn't necessary. I can't think of anything I don't like about it.. works good for my gaming needs as well.

Great light up keyboard!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this keyboard for about 2 months now and all I can say is I'm very impressed. I had been looking for light up keyboards for awhile and always found ones that were either too expensive or became defective after a month. I bought this keyboard because of the great reviews it had an I'm glad I did. The lighting is perfect on the keys and self adjusts if you're in a dark room or a lit room. The back-light automatically turns off after you don't use it for a couple seconds to conserve battery power but also comes back on whenever you hover your hands over it. This is a great feature I've grown to love and over the 2 months I've used it, it still has 3 bars of battery life (out of 3)! I haven't had to recharge this once yet (granted I only use it about 1 hour a day but still!). I'm amazed by the workmanship and attention to detail that this keyboard has. Logitech really outdid themselves with this one and I think a white back-light is the perfect color because it gives the most clarity vs. green, red, blue, etc. Also, the keys are very easy to type with and just flow with your fingers, it makes you want to type fast! If your searching for a great back-lit keyboard, buy this one! You won't be disappointed.

Best Keyboard ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard fits me perfectly! It's backlit to help when the room is dim to make sure you're hitting the right keys and/or have set your hands properly for typing as well. The charge on this wireless keyboard last forever too it seems! Also love the texture of the keyboard. Best of all, low profile keys! I think it's the best when writing up lots of reports. It's so good I also insist that I have the same keyboard for my computer at work. Nothing better than this keyboard in my book!

Great keyboard for very low lighting
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the greatest keyboard I have ever used. Wish I had found this one years ago. This is the best wireless illuminated keyboard on the market today. Very easy to set up and use, you have to download the software from Logitech web site, install it, plug in the Unifying receiver (which one receiver can take up to 6 devices) and way you go. And talk about freeing up your USB ports Logitech does it for you. I also got the Logitech M570 Wireless Trackball. It has a on/off botton on it and that comes very handy when you want to clean the keyboard. When done just turn it back on and everything is working great. I just love this keyboard and wouldnt buy anything else.

An all around great keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this keyboard for my father, as his older keyboard had been sitting in the closet for a year, and was very unresponsive when I hooked it up. This Logitech made a superb replacement, I charged it the first time for about 8 hours, and it has been being used for occasionally by my father for nearly 3 weeks, and still the battery is going strong. The adjustable backlit keys and motion sensor to activate them are great features, they help preserve battery life, while allowing you the option to adjust the brightness to your preference. I have absolutely no gripes about this keyboard, and even though I am a gamer, and tend to prefer gaming keyboards, I'm seriously considering picking up another one of these as a backup for my Logitech G15.

Best there is.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent a lot of time looking for this keyboard and am delighted I found it. Keyboard makers now are making keyboards without the lighted Cap Lock key. So you may be putting in passwords that are rejected because there is no way to know if it's on or off unless you go into word to see. This board has the Cap Lock lighted key. It also has a great feel to the keys and makes typing a delight. I really don't care about the wireless stuff and I do keep the plug connected.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have just ordered a custom build computer and wanted to get all new peripherals. I had spent an hour looking at keyboards and mice at Best Buy and had done a good bit of poking around online for reviews. I was not looking for a wireless keyboard but was intrigued by the fact that I could have a single receiver for both a keyboard and a Logitech wireless mouse. (They call this a ‘Unifying Receiver’) So I also got a Logitech M510 wireless laser mouse. I installed the receiver on the front of my computer and connect the mouse first. It was found right away and away I went. I next took the keyboard out and turned it on. Needed to ‘cycle’ the on off switch 2 times to get the receiver to see the keyboard but this must have been a first time thing as the unit has always connected right away since then. I do enjoy bringing a new product and setting it up with no muss and no fuss. Unit does have a USB cable for charging the batteries. At first I thought this was going to be a major hassle as I feel rechargeable’ s do not last as long but after getting everything organized it was all fine. (Logitech not only supplied a USB cable but also a USB extension cable. This allowed me to connect the cable to the back of the computer and route it with my speaker cables. I used the supplied Velcro cable ties to secure the keyboard end to the back of the right hand speaker with a ‘service loop’ that can reach the back of the keyboard. When not in use I just fold it back behind the speaker.) The keyboard itself is wonderful. The adjustable backlighting works as advertised and the programmable Function Keys are easily programmable (but you do need to download the keyboard and mouse management software from Logitech). I have years of using standard DELL keyboards and there has been some adjustment to slight layout difference between the units. I found the actions of the keys to be very nice but this can be very personal thing so I’d recommend going to the store to try them for yourself….I have used keyboards that one person would rave about only to find that I hated using it so always give it a try.

After 5 months, still excellent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this keyboard 5 months ago and thought I'd give a review after using it every day since. I've had a few wireless keyboards, but this one has been my favorite. The feel of the keys, the backlighting, and the battery life (plus easy to recharge), make this - at this price point - a no-brainer. Indeed, another factor, a huge one, is its range. My PC has an HDMI connection to the TV (plus have played with Chromecast) and I can sit on the couch, about 20 feet away from the USB dongle and use the keyboard while viewing my desktop on the widescreen. (I have paired the keyboard with a companion Logitech wireless mouse for the same reason). Highly recommended.
