Typing this review is produced with the keyboard. Appropriate key tap sound. Fluid key stroke. I'm not certain if there is a proximity sensor. But, the keyboard comes awake as my hand comes within typing distance. Decent battery charge - used daily for extended hours of highest brightness, approximately 2 weeks before recharge.

It has a sturdy structure and it's heavyweight gives additional stability for typing. A rechargeable battery is an additional benefit. I have several Logitech keyboards and this is the top range among them. I have not tried MX, but if you don't need to use it in multiple computer, it is good enough. Soft-touch feels similar to the laptop keyboard and my wife likes it.

The wireless and backlit keyboard features make this a great option for travel (if you prefer full size keyboard).

The back lit key board is GREAT> Seems to hold a charge for quite some time, now over a month.

Wireless keyboard works great! Love the backlit keys, communicates on a frequency that doesn't interfere with my wireless mouse, and charges via USB so there are no batteries to mess with or throw in a landfill!

This is my second one. I still have the first after many years and it is excellent. I especially like the light on the Cap Lock key that lets me know it is on. This feature is hard to find.

Seems to hold power well. Especially like back-lit keys. Only problem is the wide area at the bottom below the keys - still not use to having to reach so far up - keep hitting one row too low.

This keyboard is awesome!!!!!!!! I have poor vision and the keys light up and I can enjoy typing again. I also love the feel of the keyboard it's hard to explain but it just feels right. It's also quiet not like those lousy ones that everybody wakes up at night because I am typing. I also have what they call fat fingers but with this keyboard I haven't made any mistakes yet. It feels natural like almost not typing at all. Thanks again Best Buy. It was worth every penny.

I love this keyboard! The typing experience is awesome! It's not a cheap feeling product but has a premium feel. I like how the keys snap back and it does sound quieter than the other Logitech keyboards I have used. The illumination and the overall qualities of the keyboard are great. I do recommend this keyboard if you will be using it for academic purposes.

This keyboard was well worth its purchase. The touch/light-up sensitivity is excellent especially when the room is a bit dark. Still trying to figure out if the light may be extended for a bit longer.

I bought this keyboard for daily use at my office based on keyboard feel more than anything. The keystroke is very nice compared to other keyboards I tried. The size of some keys are a little smaller than other keyboards I've used though. I wish Logitech made a keyboard with this level of key quality, but without the back light to reduce the price a bit. In my office, the back light is never on, so it's really not needed. I may swap my home keyboard with this one where the back light would definitely come in handy. Overall, I'm still glad I bought this one over the others.

Good looking sleek keyboard. Lights up and easy touch.

Like the lighted keys and battery last a while. Don't like the rounded top ctrl key and it is a stretch for ctrl c/v because of key size.

This keyboard is very comfortable and has a nice feel to the keys. The backlighting is also a nice feature.

I type for a living so I need a very responsive and nonclicky keyboard. I actually went to get a wired keyboard but they did not have any only wired. I was not sure if I would like it. but bought it anyway. I love it. It is rechargeable not needing AA batteries. It turns itself into low power mode when not in use if I forget to turn it off. Has a nice feel when typing and not cramped. I think I love this one more than my original keyboard.

I read reviews on wireless keyboards before purchasing this one. Many positive reviews for Logitech. I realized that I needed a lighted keyboard as I generally work late into the night. Since the keyboard is black, the illuminated feature was the answer. It comes with a cord so it can be charged. So far, this was a great purchase for the cost.

I got what I hoped for. Great illumination Keys are good and tactile
