When I initially purchased this product I was entranced to be able to work in a low light area, this keyboard dose that perfectly! The keyboard is initially dark until your fingers get close to the keyboard, it then illuminates instantly before you are able to touch the keys. The keyboard is wireless so it uses batteries to illuminate itself. You can recharge the batteries in about an hour using the USB cable. I have found that I can go about two weeks between charges. But in any event there is a light that illuminates when you getting low on "juice." The keys work nicely and have a terrific "feel" to them. It is not inexpensive, but to me it is well worth the nearly $100 purchase price.

Love this keyboard. Its backlighting is awesome, its easy to connect, and its setup just the way I wanted.

Tried a few and this one rocks. Like both the wireless and the backlight.

Surpassed my expectations! Built in rechargeable battery that lasts about a week of heavy use. Convenient battery level indicator located on top of the keyboard. Comes with universal logitech usb adapter, so I was able to connect my logitech mouse to it, and therefore avoided having both usb adapters plugged into my PC.

Wireless and illuminated keyboard works very well. East wireless setup to pc!

Recently purchased a new computer, and I couldn't see the letters/numbers on the keyboard in my dimly lit room, now I can see everything. Really like that it's touch controlled.

Like the feel of the keys. Allows my typing to remain quick (as opposed to deep key sets). I don't use the backlit function but I have read that could stand some improvement. Nice weight to it - keeps it still. The keys are somewhat smaller than I am used to but that really only applied to the Tab and control keys. Overall I really like the board. I use it 8+ hours a day, 7 days a week.

I was looking for a wireless (backlit) keyboard-mouse combo, but didn't want to pay huge. saw this on sale, and decided to go with it because of of the unifying receiver. I have the MX mouse, and paired it with this kb on the same receiver. Nice feel on the keys.

I was needing a keyboard to travel with and work at home with when I was away from my office. I picked this keyboard up because of the slim size and the backlighting. If I’m working at home, I may have the lights off in the room and just using the exterior ambient lighting, so the backlighting of the keyboard was an instant hit with me.

this keyboard does not respond properly every time, it sporadically prints sometimes and other times it is flawless????????? but i do like the lighted keys

This keyboard has such a great feel to it. I don't usually care for the Logitech keyboards, however, this has such a great feel. The keyboard lights up when you reach for it! How cool is that? It's great for typing and feels super fast. The only draw back that I'd offer is that I don't like the palm rest. I was taught with classic form and never use a palm rest. I wish it were removable.

My wife was a typing/keyboard teacher and she loves this keyboard. Keys are spaced correctly and have slight indents. The lighted keyboard helps even when the light is only blocked a little. Easy to turn this feature on and off. Only comes on when you hover over it. Charge lasts at least a couple of weeks.

I bought this to go with some equipment for working at home and couldn't be happier. Really smooth and quiet typing. Very, very happy with my purchase.

If you need a lighted keyboard, this unit is for you. I bought and used one for a few weeks and was impressed enough to purchase a second unit for a family member who needed a backlit keyboard for her dark room too. We are both very pleased. The keyboard itself (minus lighting feature) is also nice quality, has a nice touch/feel when using.

I've had this board for over a month, and I like it. No messing w/ cords limited space. Works great in LOW light conditions. Great product.

Bought this keyboard mainly because I like how thin the keyboard is. I use it 10+ hours every day during the week. Have only charged it once since I purchased it 3 weeks ago. Everything is fully customizable from the brightness of the keys to the function buttons. The 2 height adjustment stands sometimes collapse when I move the keyboard, but it's not a huge problem. Keys are soft and don't make that much noise as you type, unlike other models, which was also important to me. The software that Logitech provides for you to make adjustments is very easy to use.

This keyboard exceeded my expectations! The keys are very responsive, somehow Soft & accurate simultaneously. The way the keys illuminate only as I go to type was an awesome and welcome surprise, I guess I expected them to always be on, but they are unlit until I reach for the keyboard....Awesomeness!
