I got this as a replacement for a Microsoft keyboard that I have had for over 15 years that had the letters wearing off from so much use. I really wanted a corded keyboard but unfortunately there aren't many options out there anymore.
Searching I came across this and saw it was overall exactly like my Microsoft one, so there would be no adjusting to the feel of a new keyboard (I am on my computer over 10 hours a day for video editing work & personal use).
Then I saw the backlight feature meaning the key letters weren't painted on AND that they would light up making them even easier to see.
Most of the time I use the keyboard without looking, but there are those times you really need to see the keys and this keyboard makes sure that you always can.
I was amazed at how easy they keys press, but still gives a firm feel so you know the keystroke has been made, and that the keyboard will hold up over extended use.
Another great feature is that you can use the USB receiver with multiple Logitech devices so you only need 1 port for the mouse & keyboard.
A note for those concerned, no you cannot just use the charging USB cord to use the keyboard. I tried many ways and you MUST us the USB dongle for it to receive a signal. However you can keep the USB cord plugged into the keyboard and always have 100% juice. I will never understand the concept of a cordless keyboard but when that is all that they are making, this is an amazing product and a great replacement for the Microsoft 3000 Digital Media keyboard.

This keyboard allows me to work in very dim lighting so I don't disturb others in my family. The springy touch of the keys is very comfortable. A battery charge lasts weeks for me. I highly recommend this keyboard.

I purchased this keyboard to compliment my new work from home normal and couldn’t be more pleased.
From box to productivity was under a minute. Plug in the dongle, turn on the keyboard and get to work. Bonus* - it came with enough of a charge to be productive right out of the box.
Once I got it home, I opened the box, and I was extremely impressed with the packaging. The way this thing was packed, I felt like I really had something special. hooking it up to the computer was a breeze. I just plugged in the wireless usb adapter, and it started working right out of the box.
I feel the keyboard Illumination is great. I don’t often find myself at my desk in the middle of the night so haven’t much needed this feature.
The keys on this keyboard feel fast and firm. The spring back is quick but requires only the slightest pressure to fly!
The battery life is sufficient and it recharged quickly. It’s also nice to know you can be fully drained but us the keyboard as soon as you plug it in to charge it.
My one minor gripe: it doesn’t have a dongle storage slot. If I am mobile and need the USB slot on my laptop for something else, I risk losing the dongle every time I pull it out. Please add onboard storage like nearly all Logitech wireless mice.
Overall I am very pleased.

This logitech keyboard is great. Keeps a charge for 1-2 weeks of moderate use. The lighted keyboard is an extra advantage of this keyboard. Logitech makes some great products and this is one of them!!

Lighted features is nice, but not the primary reason I purchased. The keys are very smooth and the keyboard has a good touch and feel. I also like that it's not overly large like some. Like that it has a charge indicator light and plugs into pc when a charge is needed (although it hasn't needed one yet).

I was looking for an illuminated keyboard and read all the reviews for keyboards at BestBuy.com. I then picked a few that interested me and checked local store inventory, finding the one I preferred (the one I bought) was available at my local Best Buy. I ordered it online (late at night after the store was closed) and picked it up the next day from customer pickup. Easy. This is a wireless keyboard which I was not sure about but I can't imagine having a "wired" keyboard after this one. The illumination is amazing....it lights whenever my hands hover above the keys. Love the feel of the keys when I am typing. Am extremely pleased with this purchase and did I tell you the best thing of all -- the price was great.

This keyboard has everything I was looking for.
I wanted a simple everyday board with big keys. Originally I didn't want wireless. Buying/changing batteries is a pain. This one, however, recharges directly form the computer. Very nice.
The light up keys are a great feature, plus the board knows when it is being used and turns the lights for the keys on and off as necessary.
This feature makes the board soooooo easy to read and use.
No regrets.

The keyboard has enough weight and a low center of gravity to keep it from moving about. The keys light up when needed and are quiet to the touch. Overall the keyboard is easy to use and comfortable.

Finally, a quality keyboard! The feel is excellent. The keys don't jam and rub together like some others. I use the lighting too as I often type at night and don't want a lot of light in the room.

Needed a new keyboard for a new desktop system. I've had very good luck with Logitech over the years, specifically with wireless input devices. I decided I wanted a back light and that narrowed the range. This feels like a quality piece as I expect from Logitech. Good construction, feels substantial. Full keyboard with many options including several programmable custom functions (be sure to download the software from Logitech.) Setup and linking to the PC is so easy it will probably happen without any intervention from you after you click on the permission button (Windows 10.) If you are also using a Logitech mouse you'll need to download the Unifying software as well. The keys have a very nice feel to me, decent travel, not clicky but still positive, not mushy as some are. I have mixed feelings about the rechargeable battery because it introduces one more cable to the desktop, which for me is unique to this device (old micro B connector that doesn't fit anything else I have.) But no batteries to buy so on balance probably a plus. It remains to be seen how often it will require charging, but so far I'm on day five and the indicator says I'm only a third down, so not bad. Overall, I'm very happy with this.

The Logitech K800 keyboard is awesome! This is my 2nd one... been using it a couple weeks now. I owned the first one for a few years until someone (who will remain anonymous) spilled some liquid on it accidentally (a lot of liquid). The liquid messed with the circuit board and ruined it, so I had to buy a replacement. It was not on sale, but I bought a 2nd one anyway because I loved it so much! This unit is quieter than any other keyboard I have used. It is great when working in low light areas using the back-lit keys, has some programmable keys for quick launch options, and has good response time. I keep it plugged in most of the time, but do use the internal battery for wireless interaction occasionally, which is great too. Plus, I have had a good track record with any of the "Logitech unifying software" products. This model rarely goes on sale (in my opinion), and doesn't get in the spotlight very often, but it really is the best I've found to date. I had to seek out this specific model again, K800, when I needed a great keyboard. You may want to try it if you haven't yet.

I'm using it now to add this review! Keys feel great.
Illumination was important to us. You just hover your hands over the keyboard, and the keys light up. This is unlike my laptop, where I have to press a key in order to illuminate the keyboard.
Battery is lasting a long time, and you just plug it in for a few hours in order to recharge it. So far, so good.

Good price and quality workmanship in a wireless keyboard. Responsive with minimal footprint. The illuminated keys are a plus for us less than proficient keyboardists.

I needed a keyboard specifically for when I was connecting my Microsoft Surface to an external monitor. I already had a unifying mouse attached, so I was specifically looking for another unifying device to connect to the same dongle. I was quite happy that likewise the keyboard uses the same recharge cable as the mouse I am using. There's other, cheaper options available, but I wanted a 10 digit keypad, rechargeable and as mentioned unifying. As a bonus the keys type nice, and I don't like going back to my desktop keyboard. I only wish the Unifying receiver worked with my KVM so I could use it with the other computers in my office.

For those who dislike chiclet keys (which I find cause an inordinate number of typos), this wireless in-curve keyboard has a wonderful touch to it with just the right amount of sensitivity. Additionally, it has a backlight feature which goes on each time your hand approaches the keyboard. There are various other shortcut keys to the calculator, screen brightness, multimedia volume, etc., with even more functions available through the FN keys. The battery time on this keyboard has worked well, as it charges through the receiver plugged into the USB port even when it's being used. Furthermore, if it's turned off at night, the battery life is even lengthier. I have not had to manually charge this keyboard at all. (There is a recharging cable included in the package, should the keyboard need to be manually recharged.) Although a little pricey, this is the nicest keyboard I have had in a long time and well worth the extra money.

Good keyboard for general use, soft touch keys and the lighting is appropriate. Would have preferred a curved KB but not available at the store. Again great service from Best Buy sales rep helping locate what I was really wanting just did not have time to run across town.
