As I must frequently sit with my feet up, this keyboard works well instead of balancing my laptop in my lap. Who would have thought! Wireless and illuminated, it is ideal for use while others in the darkened room watch TV or play on their computer. It is small enough to pack with my laptop for travel overnight or longer [day trips laptop keyboard works OK]. Remote pickup necessary for undercover use.

The compact size of this keyboard is perfect for the coffee table. The backlight is convenient and bright enough at the lowest level. I would not recommend this as a daily use replacement for a laptop or desktop keyboard though.

Much better range than my previous wireless keyboard - I can comfortably use this to control my home media center PC or browse the web from the comfort of my couch without having to lean forward to move the keyboard closer. Looks neater and more stylish too. The back-lit keys are very useful for night-time use.

This is one of the best quality boards, with the best trackpad and great battery life too. But I was disappointed in the keys themselves. First, they're so closely crammed together. It's only 7 inches across from the letter Q to the letter P. That's less than what it is on my little 13" laptop. Secondly, all the keys are perfectly flat, with some kind of slippery coating, so your fingers slide over them too easily, making mistakes more often. Also the keys are perfect squares with sharp edges and corners, which sometimes causes irritation with me. Also, this keyboard has no ramp angle built into it, like a classic keyboard would. It's just perfectly flat on your desk. And finally, the keyboard light only stays on for 5 seconds. There should be an option to leave it on permanently. LED lights don't consume THAT much power. My best advice to Logitech is, stop trying to make your keyboards as short as possible. Maybe you are trying to save money on materials or shipping expense, but it comes at the expense of user comfort. People are using this on their lap, so they want it to be wide enough to stretch across both legs. And there should be more distance between each key, and they should have rounder edges instead of being sharp squares.

For the price, I thought I was buying a high-end, quiet, compact keyboard. It is indeed compact, and while I do have some positive things to say about it, the key point is that this keyboard is not good for typing or mousing. The keys are mushy. I've heard this said in reviews of other products before, but I've never known quite what it meant, until now. Essentially, there is an amount of travel and rock to the key press that makes it feel a little loose. It doesn't spring back quite right after you press the key down, in the end slowing down typing speed and accuracy. Once in a while, it lags and I type seven-ten words with no apparent on-screen response. Then, all of a sudden, it catches up instantly. Not a big deal, but fishy. (note I am using the usb receiver, not bluetooth support) The touch pad is excellent but too small and marred by terrible buttons. The left click button has a lot of rock to it, and on mine, it sits a little lower than the left click button. You have to use quite a bit of force, pretty close to the center of the button to get it to register a click. However, the gestures and tap-to-click work well. This touch surface part of this mouse is one of the best I've used on Windows. My last complaint: It has no tilt to it and no way to raise it up. It lays flat on the desk, which makes it difficult to type. I think I would adjust to this. Now the good: The rechargeable battery is great. The backlight is great. I love that it can be bluetooth or usb based. Foremost, the Logitech "Options" software is great. Very easy to use. My first response after using it was, "Is that it? Certainly there has to be more steps than this?" It may not be clear from Best Buy's website, but Logitech markets this product for TV and home theater scenarios. Maybe in that case, it would be a better keyboard. For desktop, it is not worth the price I paid. That said, I will still consider a logitech keyboard and/or touchpad. As amatter of fact, I am going to see if they have a higher end touchpad to replace this one.

I have 7 wireless KB's/Mice, this is my fave! If you like the Logitech K400 you will LOVE this. Aluminum chassis with pro keys AND they are illuminated, MUCH nicer than the K400, and the touchpad is more responsive. Works with any Logitech unifying dongle (comes with one), charges via USB cable (included) and apparently also with Bluetooth (have not tried). Some reviewers complained about a short illumination time--I have zero complaints especially if you are typing. I am satisfied NOT using Logitech software other than the unifying, works A-OK on Win10 drivers.

The recharge and no batteries is nice, it goes for about 2-3 weeks. The keyboard itself is sturdy and seems like it will stand the test of time. Setup was extremely easy to my laptop.

Works as advertised and backlit function is nice. Touchpad mouse can get laggy but not sure if it's the computer or the keyboard. Has excellent battery life.

This keyboard worked pretty great. It just wasn't what I was looking for. At the time that I got this keyboard, I was really just looking for something with scissor-key style keys, a backlight, and that could operate multiple devices via bluetooth and/or bluetooth and a 2.4ghz wireless adapter. There just weren't that many of those around at the time, so I settled for this one. But like I said. It was a great keyboard, just not what I was looking for.

I use this keyboard with my laptop and TVs. Compact. Solid construction. Smooth response. Holds a charge well. Not the least expensive, but worth the cost.

I have always liked Logitech products. This keyboard is nice. The keyboard has a nice feel. The keys have nice feedback and are backlit. Lasts quite a long time on a charge.

Purchased to connect my media PC to my TV. Works great for the use and battery life is good. Feels solidly build and not too heavy.

The design is ideal; the keyboard is a soft touch and battery last long.. The touchpad can be improved but still works fine.

I wish it was a little smaller and lighter but it does light up so it’s great as my bedroom tv/computer remote. It lasts a long time on a charge

I initially bought this to use with my Surface tablet. Also works great with my old Sony Vaio laptop, and even my Samsung TV. Makes navigating the menus easier and typing titles faster. Best of all, even works with my Raspberry Pi 3. Battery life is incredible. Delivered in the middle of December and I've still yet to charge it even though the manual said 7-10 days. Lightweight and easily portable. I keep it in my work bag at all times. The Bluetooth dongle is tiny so while unobtrusive, it would be easy to lose so I keep it in a small carry case. 10/10 product. Can't recommend enough.

Bought this keyboard to use wirelessly with my new Samsung View tablet. I love that it has the built in mouse pad and is the reason I picked it over any of the other bluetooth capable wireless keyboards. The only thing I wish it had was a 10 key included or a 10 key function.

if your planning to use your tv as a pc or raspberrry pi screen i strongly recommend this nice combo KB+Mouse pad .. charge is morethan enough to build an app ! .. faster than any other wireless combo piece in the market ( talking about raspberry pi 3 here)..
