If you doing any writing on the iPad, this is way better than the virtual keyboard. And you're not using up screen space with the keyboard, so more work area. It looks good open or closed. The function keys work well with IOS. The keyboard is a litte smaller than the Asus Transformer Prime keyboard so it can feel a little cramped. And due to the slight weight increase the magnets don't work as well in the closed position as the do on the Apple Smart Cover. But overall a great value.

Let me start by saying I really love this keyboard. It paired with my ipad4 immediately and I haven't had a problem with the connection any time I use it. It only took me a few minutes of typing to get used to the smaller keys. Like everyone else I wish it was a little cheaper, but I am a fan of logitech products and have had good luck with them in the past. It really will not work as a protective case, so if you think you will be rough on your ipad this will probably not be the item for you. For those of you who wish to have a protective back on your ipad I found a case by Devicewear called Union Shell that still works great with the magnet and is a very thin backing that easily snaps on and off the ipad. It comes in quite a few colors and won't break your pocketbook. It doesn't cover the back of the keyboard, so that may still get scratched, but I was more concerned about covering my ipad anyway. I just wish Best Buy carried them (hint, hint) because they also work with the Apple smartcase and would probably sell like hotcakes.

Just got my Ultrathin cover today from BestBuy.com sadly it came with a huge dent on the back cover straight out of the box. It works pretty good still though. I'm actually writing this review right now on the keyboard cover. I like it but typing on it is a bit cramped... probably how a netbook feels. Coming from using Apple's bluetooth keyboard it's a bit tougher to use though not impossible. I do find the delete key a bit small. I like a few of the dedicated keys like the home key, lock key and some of the heighlight keys when they actually work. There is a globe key that I am assuming is a web browser key... but it doesn't open safari. The best feature is the magnetic stand. It is the most secure stand you'll ever find for an iPad. It makes your iPad feel like a laptop. Makes reading on my lap the best experience I've ever had with an iPad. The magnet hinge on this particular case isn't very strong. It fell off immediatlely the first time I put it on. Still not sure if I'm going to keep it. Definitely not keeping this dented one though, but I'll need to see how Best Buy's exchange policy works on items not sold in stores. If it's a lot of trouble I'll have to just return it.

I love this keyboard. It is slim and lightweight. The iPad fits nicely into the slot when typing, and is relatively stable. The brushed chrome shell matches the iPad perfectly. The problem is that when I want to use the iPad without the keyboard, the iPad or keyboard sits unprotected in my bag. Also, note that the autocorrect is inoperable when using the keyboard. Those are the reasons why I'm giving this product 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, love the function and look of this product.

Fantastic product and by far the best keyboard for an iPad on the market. The keyboard feels like a actualy keyboard, the keys have a satisfying click to them and isn't soft like many other keyboards out there. It takes about 30 seconds to setup and it really transform an ipad into a laptop replacement device. Now that I have it, I don't think I could ever use an iPad without it.

I am writing this review with the logitech keyboard. I bought it in early September and have not needed to charge it. I use it roughly 2 hours a day mainly to write e-mails and fill in formats and it is great!! I find the shortcuts very practical (both the editing and the iPad ones). I am used to writing in small keyboards as I have an HP Netbook so I have no problem with the keys being close. The only minus I've found is that the attachment magnet tends to get loose if you handle it too much while attached to the iPad. It is well worth its price!!

I've had 2 occassions where the keyboard just quit working. I had to turn it off and back on again and things picked back up. Considering that I use it daily I guess that is not too bad but is a real pain if you are in the middle of typing something. I charge weekly and have never had it run out of battery. Works fast with very little lag.

This cover / keyboard makes traveling for a week without a laptop a solid possibility. As a cover the entire thing is still really compact. Nice way to roll.

Great product. Light weight. Easy to connect to Bluetooth. Long battery life. You will use your iPad more for emailing with this purchase.

I bought this based on the reviews I found on Best Buy's website and Amazon. The reviews were spot on. The keyboard is fantastic the only complaint that I would have is that it doesn't fasten too well to the face of the iPad. I have a smart cover that sticks a lot better to the face of the iPad. Realizing this is not a cover and a keyboard that isn't an issue. The functionality of the keyboard is fantastic, the shortcuts are excellent and overall it is a great addition to the iPad. It makes taking notes during meetings a breeze.

The ultrathin is what you want in a keyboard. Thin, light, cleverly engineered to attach to your iPad. It works as you would want.

This keyboard relly takes the iPad to the next level. The cover provides great protection. Keyboard has a great feel and response.

This is a great keyboard. The package is nice closed, it gives a very nice appearance. The bluetooth was easy to pair and the battery last a long time. Overall a great product! It may not be the best for a person on the move unless you have another case or bag to put your iPad in. For a protective case, I would go for the Zagg Folio.

Overall, I think this is the best option for an iPad bluetooth keyboard. When closed, it protects the screen and it ties right into the iPad's design. Typing feels great and the keyboard connects well to the iPad. My only gripe is in the design of these keyboards. Ideally, I would prefer more of a clamshell design so that I can just open it up and start typing. I understand that there are some limitations in how this could be accomplished though.

I bought this keyboard when it first came out. I had the original Zagg keyboard for my iPad 1 and always struggled with the enclosure around the space bar. This keyboard didn't have the same problem, so I ordered it. I have used it extensively since I purchased it and I really love how quickly it connects through Bluetooth to all my devices (iPod, iPad, iPhone). The groove to hold the iPad will hold it in either orientation, although portrait view feels a little weak. The magnets on the groove also ensure it will stay snugly in place while in landscape mode. My only complaint with this keyboard is when you use it as a cover. The only thing holding the keyboard to the iPad is the magnetic strip. This is a very flimsy connection. I can hold the iPad/keyboard in one hand and separate them. It really needs an edge that will ensure it doesn't separate when you carry it like this. There were a couple times that I nearly lost my iPad because the magnetic connection wasn't strong enough to hold the two together. I would still recommend this item, as it is a great keyboard. However, if you need the keyboard to be secure, I would suggest Zagg's newest keyboard for iPad 2/3/4, or investigate the Clamcase Pro.

If you use an iPad for work, this is most important add-on! The form factor is great and keys are very responsive. The cover has some weight. It's not heavy, but enough to cause it to slip apart from the iPad easily - more easily than a light-weight Apple cover. Not sure if the magnets could be any stronger. Neverthesless, it doesn't prevent me from rating it 5 stars and recommending it to all of my friends. .

I got this yesterday for Christmas along with the newest Ipad and I absoltely love it. It makes no noise when its turned on, and i love how slim it is. Holds my Ipad steadily in place and the magnets that hold it to the Ipad when its closed are crazy strong. I love this, absolutely nothing wrong with it!!

Great option for when you need a keyboard for faster typing. Wish the magnets that attach it to the iPad and the ones that hold it closed were a little bit stronger. Works especially well when you are traveling with an iPad instead of a computer.

I was excited to find that there was a keyboard for the ipad and happy that it would give my ipad extra protection as a hard back cover. The battery doesn't last very long, but the keyboard is nice. The only drawback is that there is no delete key... you have to use the backspace to delete something, other than that it is a perfect accessory for an ipad.

My wife & I each own iPads and she needed my laptop, I didn't want to throw down 8 to 12 hundred on a laptop. So I thought I'd try a keyboard cover. Two weeks ago a friend at work showed my his. This week I found that I will just need more capacity on my iPad. I'm saving work to the iCloud or forward it to work email. Now its working pretty well.
