Build Quality is very cheap. I like the folio aspect, but its not worth it when the keyboard feels like a plastic toy.

Heavily disappointed, loved the previous version of this product. The keyboard is amazing, but everything else is not really good. Cannot attach some USB devices. Fingerprints and scratches everywhere as per other reviews!

It doesn't fit my o pad the manager got it for me.

This is the latest iteration of the Combo Touch that I have used with my iPads.The my past Combo Touches were for a 13 inch iPad Pro, this one being for my current 11 inch iPad Pro, it is obviously smaller, particularly felt in the keyboard. First, aesthetically speaking, this Combo Touch has some changes to it from the previous models, feeling noticeably lighter to me, even with the iPad being the smaller version, the density feels less. I think part of this is that the material surface doesn’t feel padded like previous versions. This version has a rubbery texture, with no real padding to speak of, but I think this is part of the reason for the less weight feeling. The surface that when open sits on the desktop or table (or lap) is a metal plate, with no rubbery material over it. This makes the keyboard on the inside a very rigid experience, which is good, but the metal being exposed on the outside is an odd choice to me. It’s the only real part that is not covered. Both materials also show fingerprints pretty easily, and being a charcoal gray to black color, that means this does show fingerprints most of the time. Opening up the case is pretty similar to previous versions. The kickstand on the back of the part that holds the iPad is sturdy, and I find it very supportive. It also doesn’t wobble or anything when open, so it feels high quality. The iPad inserts into this part, and forms a lip around the screen, and while this has advantages, I have been worried that it will cause my screen protector to bubble up. Hasn’t yet, but they touch. There is a cutout for the pencil to attach, and it’s a comfortable fit. The keyboard has a great key travel and feels comfortable as well. The function row has shortcut keys and since this attached by magnets, they are very easy to see and access. There is a home key where the ESC key would be, and it goes home when you don’t have a need to escape something, for instance if you have a menu open in an app, that key will back out of the menu, then hitting it again takes you to the Home Screen. The trackpad is large and sensitive. it is a click everywhere type, and is a mechanical action as opposed to a haptic feedback. Some will love this, some won’t. I don’t mind either way as long as you can click at the top and get the same actions as when you click at the bottom. This is a powered through the iPad device, so no charging is needed. It attaches to the other piece that holds the iPad, so to use the keyboard you have to use the back for the iPad, rather than just using the keyboard wirelessly or attached without the cover. Performance wise I find the keys great, but I’m noticing what I think is a software issue where it either ignores my typing or it types something else. I also notice at times the trackpad will register a touch and I have the click touch option off in settings. For this reason and the easy fingerprint issue, I would consider this a decent keyboard, pretty protective case, and versatility, that needs a few updates and possibly improved materials next go round.

When I was looking to try out the Logitech Combo Touch for my iPad pro, the main thing I was focused on was seeing how the keys felt on the keyboard and what that overall experience would be like. Normally for Apple products I don't do 3rd-party accessories...so I was interested in the keyboard experience. I have to say, after using the Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Pro, I walked away a lot more impressed with the overall protection the case provides. My iPad now feels like a completely different device. It feels a lot more "Pro." The M4 iPad pro is an awesome device. I will say however, when I purchased it without a case, it performed "Pro"...but it didn't feel as "Pro" as I would have liked. It felt delicate. When I purchased "another" case for it, it felt safer...but it still felt more like a toy. When I put the iPad Pro in the Logitech - Combo Touch...it felt solid. It felt protected. it didn't feel like a toy anymore, it felt like a Pro device. The way the case covers the iPad from all angles makes it feel like a completely different device. I feel a lot more comfortable with the iPad because it feels so much safer. Mind you, I haven't begin to talk about the experience with the keyboard yet. With the focus Logitech put into protection, one might thing the Combo Touch case might slack when it comes to the keyboard aspect...and they'd be wrong. Yes, the 11 inch iPad pro is smaller than most laptops you'd use, so a keyboard designed for that isn't going to feel exactly like using a laptop, however, for iPad OS makes navigation a lot easier, and this keyboard does it's job swimmingly. The keys feel clicky enough. Would I write a a novel on this iPad with this keyboard? Probably not...but if I didn't have another option, I wouldn't necessarily complain about it either. Adjusting to the smaller form factor didn't take much time, and I have pretty large hands. The touchpad on default is super responsive, but not too sensitive. Perfect. The backlighting on the keys is slight, but solid. This keyboard turns my M4 iPad Pro into a smaller (but probably more powerful than most) laptop easy, that I could easily take with me as a laptop replacement. I'd strongly recommend the Logitech - Combo Touch for the M4 iPad Pro 11-inch for anyone looking for a keyboard case/protection for their iPad Pro. I deducted one point as I would have preferred the case be a solid piece as opposed to the two piece set. Originally the keyboard side of the case detached a little too easy, but I haven't experienced that lately. Some may like that, but I don't. Still, I'd strongly recommend this product to anyone in the market.

As a previous owner of this keyboard/case for my old M2 iPad Pro, I was happy to see this come out for the M4 considering I have since upgraded to the M4 and I could not be happier. This has a leg up on the Magic Keyboard in a few different ways which I will list later on. For the device itself, as with the previous iteration, it is powered by the smart connector pins and features a removable keyboard and there are 4 different ways/viewing angles to use, depending on what you need it for on any given day. Personally I use it as the standard layout (keyboard attached, stand extended) or stand extended but keyboard removed for media consumption. I would use it for pencil writing as well but the little kickstand they have tends to be a little "springy" which can also mess with people that utilize the pressure sensitivity features of the Apple Pencil. On to the pros and cons: Pros: -The trackpad is very responsive has a tactile feel to it so when you press down, you will feel the click - The trackpad is about 1 1/2 times the size, both in height and in width, of the official offering from Apple (which I also have) and somehow they managed to keep the part with the keys the same size -the previous generation had a fabric covering all around which was not exactly liquid proof but this time around they used the same silicone material on the back/kickstand as Apples and under the keyboard flap, it is a hard material (aluminum maybe?) with a silicone bumper surrounding it. This gives it a sturdier feel AND allows for easier cleaning. - It does feel and appear a little thinner compared to the last model. This could be from the iPad itself being thinner as well -function keys are similiar to the Magic Keyboard but the location of the keys is a bit different and now the cons: -As with last offering, Logitech does not include anything on the top/side of the Combo Touch that will assist in holding the pencil in place. Numerous times I had slipped it into my bag only to find it would popped off. Sure there are 3rd party things you can buy (which I did) that slide between the iPad and the back cover and help prevent accidently knock offs, but it would have been nice to see something built in -The kickstand is both a boon and a hindrance. If you are tight on space, this might cause a problem if you need the kickstand extended fully but if you can afford the space, it adds a stability that the new Magic Keyboard does not have (the USB-C hinge charging port also adds a wobble when you apply any sort of pressure onto the screen) Overall, this will be my go to case for a long time to come. It offers great protection all around, 4 different viewing angles, helpful function keys AND the big one, a price point I like.

This is a great unit, with one limitation that may or may not be an issue for you. As usual with Logitech, the build quality of this case/keyboard is immaculate. Surprisingly, my favorite part is the texture. It's slightly rubberized, but not in a way that feels "industrial". It does a decent job rejecting fingerprints, and adds some grip that makes me very confident having my iPad in my hands. The typing experience is wonderful, on par with the more expensive keyboards that Apple sells. Great travel & spacing, and having the function row keys is very useful. The trackpad is responsive to all of the iPadOS gestures, and has a great click mechanism. Then there are the 2 features that set this unit apart from the first party keyboard options. The ability for the keyboard to detach is very handy for when I want to use the pencil to take notes or sketch up a diagram, or for when I am using my iPad as an eReader. The other thing is the fact that the backplate surrounds the entire iPad and gives it full protection when it's detached from the keyboard...but that's also the sticking point for me, keeping this from a full 5 stars. The backplate is very, very form-fitting. It was a bit of a struggle to get the iPad inside of it, and it's been even more than a struggle to get it out. As someone who likes to bounce from case to case with my devices, this is a little off-putting. If you're like me and you like to change frequently, keep this in mind. If you're not like me and your devices live in the same case for months or years, then this is absolutely the keyboard & case for you.

The Logitech Combo Touch iPad Pro 11 Combo Touch keyboard is the better alternative to the Apple's own keyboard. The Logitech Combo Touch doesn't add bulk to your iPad Pro, it provides better protection (serious case protection vibes) and the keyboard is removable. Removable, as in whip it off and still have your iPad protected by the case and can still use the kick stand. They keys are backlit, have good travel, and the touchpad is a nice size with a satisfying clicks on each keypress and responsive scrolling. In short, it's a better choice keyboard for your iPad Pro M4. What's good (great!) It's MUCH light than the Magic Keyboard. The kickstand gives you excellent viewing angles. The fact you can pull the keyboard off quickly when you don't need it is great. Using your iPad to read news at night, or watch some Netflix - get rid of the keyboard in an instant. It is powered all by the iPad pro and the backlit keys are great if you need to work in poor light. What's not so good Minor Issues: The protective case caused my screen protector to lift (top right corner). That was probably a misalignment error by me when I put on the protector. I wish Logitech made a front case for this case when you don't want the keyboard attached. Not sure about On first use you're prompted to install "Logitech Control". It seems the software is used for firmware updates to the keyboard. There were none for me. You could probably uninstall the app after first use as it asks for all sorts of other Bluetooth permissions which it doesn't need.

Out of the box you can tell this is a quality case for your tablet. The case is 2 piece that connects magnetically. The tablet case fits nice and all the cutouts and buttons works flawlessly. I think the back case is made of some type of aluminum which gives me confidence that it will protect my tablet well. I don't know what material the keyboard is made of but it does feel nice. There is a kickstand that is attached to the back of the keyboard giving me many options on which way to keep the tablet up which I really like. There is a cutout for your pen as well. The 2 parts attach and breaks apart with the perfect amount of force in my opinion. It felt sturdy enough where I felt that it wasn't just going to disconnect at any movement but wasn't a hard yank to pull apart as well. My last case holder was very loose and that was such a pain. The keyboard is where this unit shines though. I love the tactile feel when pressing the keys, it was very satisfying. I love the backlit keyboard which really helped in low light conditions. I love the short cut keys at the top, especially the home page and screenshot buttons. Very convenient when using my tablet. The trackpad was huge and had multi-touch capabilities. My fingers glided over the trackpad with no hiccups. The one thing I didn't know, because I just assumed, was, this case isn't using bluetooth. I found out that it connects to the tablet using the smart pin connector which means its powered by the tablet itself. No need to ever charge the case, very cool. I was told this helped with latency and I really did notice. Every track movement and every press of the keys was very responsive. No lag whatsoever. This Logitech case is a absolute winner and a big thumbs up from me. Made my tablet into a laptop.

Having used a previous version with my M2 iPad Pro, I can confidently say that this case continues to impress, offering unmatched versatility for both professional and personal use. Right out of the box, you can feel the quality just as in years past it’s a perfect fit with no issues and all the right cutouts in all the right spots. This year to go along with the theme of the new darker black iPad the case comes in a darker color than prior which I really like. The detachable keyboard and adjustable kickstand make it perfect for anything you do whether you're typing, sketching, or just viewing content on your night stand before bed it just works. There is no batteries or anything because it uses the Smart Connector on your iPad for power all in one and works flawlessly. The trackpad is responsive and smooth as it should be and since it works with multi touch you just use the same gestures your already used to. And of course it's made with Apple Pencil / Logitech Crayon users in mind, offering seamless storage and charging capabilities just like not having a case on at all. If you're looking for premium protection without sacrificing functionality, along with the ability to go from typing to detaching the keyboard and just vibing with your iPad then the Combo Touch is worth every penny. It strikes that perfect balance between robust design, practical features and is actually still light and not bulky it really is a home run.

I recently got the Logitech Combo Touch for my iPad Pro 11-inch, and it’s been super great! This keyboard case is super easy to attach to and really enhances how I use my iPad. First off, the smart connector works exactly as you would expect. Snap the iPad to the case with the magnets.... and go! It pairs instantly, so I never have to worry about charging the keyboard. Just snap it on, and I’m ready to type. The detachable keyboard is a huge win too; if I just want to use my iPad as a tablet, I can easily take it off. Easily one of the best reasons to get this case. The adjustable kickstand is great for finding that perfect angle, whether I’m typing or watching videos. I really appreciate that and miss the feature when I’m on the original iPad keyboard case. ...about the trackpad—it’s surprisingly responsive and was just fine.The keys are backlit, which is awesome for late-night typing sessions. They feel nice to type on, too—not too stiff or mushy. The fabric exterior looks good and offers decent protection without adding too much bulk. The kickstand can be a little tricky if you’re trying to use it on your lap, but it works perfectly on a desk or table. Overall, the Combo Touch has really transformed my iPad experience. If you’re looking for a solid keyboard case that gives you flexibility and functionality, I definitely recommend checking this one out!

So i have some college classes and i used my iPad all the time to help with taking notes. I was using an app that gave me an on screen keyboard but i would make a bazillion mistakes because my fingers would hit multiple keys or i would hit an intended key but another one would actually register. So it was a painstaking task after every class to go through and read pages and pages of the notes i took to find the mistakes to print them out. You have to turn in your notes with this class. I did not want to look like a 1st grader took my notes. So this keyboard was sent from heaven to make my life so much easier. Now it's like i have a laptop with me but without all the bulkiness of a laptop and i don't need to plug it in to have to worry about the battery dieing. It installs onto the iPad in literal milliseconds and it's just like a standard keyboard. This keyboard has made my class so much better and i don't spent hours upon hours going through my own notes to fix the mistakes i had made during class. If your looking for an awesome keyboard for your iPad look no further. There are a few different models for the size ipad you have so just make sure you get the correct one to fit you iPad.

Adding laptop level functionality to your iPad Pro gets you the best of both worlds. The Logitech Combo Touch brings you a step further with a trackpad, so you almost forget you have a touchscreen. I had a previous Logitech keyboard cover that worked great, after a couple of years, started to fade and was feeling a bit clunky. This keyboard with trackpad is an upgrade in every way. It's much thinner than the old one yet feels just as sturdy and the keys just as clicky. At first connection, a notification appears saying an app was not installed for this keyboard, but then everything worked. The trackpad works just like a laptop version, all features you'd expect, zoom, scroll, slide. The kickstand is hidden so well, I almost didn't know it was there. My favorite feature is the detachable keyboard, makes it feel like a surface book. I realized when fitting it on that the M4 model dimensions are ever so slightly different than my gen1 model. I was under the impression it was just the camera hole, but it's also 0.3mm thinner, 2.1mm longer, and 1mm less wide. I can say it fits the old one at 97% so near perfect with some reduced functionality on volume and some chargers.

Apple please take note of what Logitech has been doing with this case for the iPad. Do not get me wrong the case Apple makes is very sleek and works well. But its utility is not as good as Logitech’s. The biggest thing is that it keeps the iPad from being an iPad and keeps it as a laptop style device. Here with the Logitech case you are getting both. A great keyboard with al the controls you can ask for and a great case that works everywhere. Together you get what I think is the best case for an iPad period. The only downside to me as I prefer the material they used in the previous version the soft touch material while feeling great shows fingerprints like no ones business. Besides that everything about the case is great the feel the weight the touchpad works great and is nice and large the top row of functions buttons are the best. Having a case when it allows me to use my iPad like a laptop when I need to do work or type responses to email and when I just want to use it like an iPad to watch some tv I can detach the keyboard and everything else still works. Highly recommended

I’ve been a BIG fan of Logi’s iPad accessories, having always had at least one of these for every iPad I’ve owned since my original iPad Pro in 2016. For a while, Logitech was the ONLY game in town using Apple’s native smart connectors on the back or spine of the tablet to connect for keyboards that don’t need separate batteries or even offering backlighting on a few models they’ve offered over the years. Until Apple offered their own Magic Keyboard for a significantly higher price, I’d have argued that these were even superior to many of Apple’s own accessories and “folio” products for iPad, offering better connectivity, durability, and protection for the iPad itself. I believe in previous generations Ove even discussed that in reviews. This new Combo set lives up to much of the previous hype. Redesigned for the thinner latest-generation iPads, it continues to offer a few things I love about the Combo touch sets: - Native Apple Smart Connector support: No fiddling g with separate battery charging or Bluetooth. This works just like an Apple genuine accessory with native PIN connection to the tablet - Excellent Logitech keyboard and touchpad: The generations where they’ve included a touchpad with the keyboard are excellent. This year is no exception. The key travel and typing feel are on-par with Logi’s reputation in this space. - Innovative detachability of the keyboard: This being an iPad case, I really like the detachability of the keyboard that leaves the case as a nice sturdy iPad case with kickstand when typing isn’t needed. It also provides reversibility to make the keyboard cover just part of the tent mode for movie watching out of the way. No review would be complete, without countering these niceties with the many issues I have with Logi’s latest offering though: - The new detachable keyboard feels more flimsy than previous at-bats for Logi. It’s not cheap, but not as cork and robust as previous generations. - Like the new iPad Pro (I have the nano-glass version) this new Combo case is a fingerprint magnet too!! Why did Logi abandon their woven/wool texture for this roughened plastic aesthetic that collects seemingly permanent fingerprints and requires me to wet wipe down the device a few times a day - Isn’t the point of good protection and style gear to avoid this? - The kickstand form factor is WAY less lap-able than Apples own keyboard: While Apples keyboard is almost twice as expensive, in this latest generation, they’ve nailed the “overhang” ratio and it’s so easy now to lap the Magic Keyboard, balanced and aligned properly. This Logi offering turns my iPad into a Surface Pro of sorts - Flimsy keyboard hinge and thin kickstand make it only possible to use on larger flat tabletops or desks. With the kickstand and flat keyboard approach, it also requires more depth than competing solutions overall. - my final gripe is perhaps the biggest of all: Logi designed a really nice magnetic closure into this setup that seems to use the iPad’s built-in magnetic closure which is great - But they failed to put any gaps into the design for pulling the keyboard or kickstand open when going to use it! There’s no tab area or gap for your finger to reach in and pull the kickstand open or detach the keyboard when it’s acting as the screen cover when fully folded. I keep stressing the joint of the kickstand by pulling it off too aggressively or slowly wearing a notch into the one side where I’m always picking at it to open it, and I know I’m prematurely wearing the keyboard at its link point by sliding it around away from its magnetic clasp to get it to open sometimes. Two steps forward with great support for this gen’s iPad, but a few very regrettable steps back. If you love the Surface-esque vibe this puts off it’ll serve you well, just be prepared with a tool to open it and have a deep tabletop ready and your cleaning cloth when you do.

I was excited to try the Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Pro (M4) Keyboard Case with Detachable Keyboard and Trackpad for my new iPad. I had a previous similar version for my M1 iPad Pro and was quite happy with it. This one did not disappoint. As I have been accustomed to Logitech products this case is quality made, easy to set up and work with. IT fits perfectly and I feel confident that my iPad Pro will be well protected while also letting me get the tasks done that I would need with ease. The kickstand is sturdy and allows me to adjust the way my ipad sits to fit my needs. The ability to detach the keyboard is a nice perk since sometimes I want to make things simple.The keys on the keyboard feel nice and responsive. I actually feel like the keys on this keyboard than it was when I got the similar version. I also like the large trackpad. Although I liked the Apple Magic Keyboard because it felt like I should purchase accessories from Apple I just found that this case not only functions exactly as expected but it feels much more protective at a little more budget friendly price.

This is the perfect case and keyboard combination for my iPad Pro. The adjustable kickstand makes it really easy to use and angle for wherever I happen to be, home or on the road. The keys are also backlit so I can use the keyboard in low light or even darkness, the backlight is also automatically adjustable based on ambient light, which is really awesome. It's also not just a couple of light levels, it easily has over a dozen for perfect visibility no matter the environment. The multi-touch trackpad is also really easy and seamless to use. The case also allows the perfect amount of space to store and charge my Apple Pencil. Overall, it is a really premium and functional case and keyboard combo. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for form and function. It is also really well made and I feel confident that my iPad Pro is protected if dropped. It also uses the smart connector technology so the iPad powers the keyboard and trackpad without having to connect using Bluetooth. It's just very responsive and I highly recommend it.
