After much research watching countless videos and reading reviews and comparisons from this and the magic keyboard, I went with combo touch. My ipad is usually my daily as a laptop replacement, and as a student I take notes constantly and the thought of putting my bare ipad on surfaces and writing on it doesn’t sound the best. Being able to keep it in the case and either flip the keyboard to the back or detach it entirely was game changing, the main selling point for me versus the magic keyboard. But that’s about where the pro’s end for the combo touch. The durability is horrible, I owned this for 1 month 14 days and the case already started peeling towards the edges and the volume buttons, and it’s not like I was taking it out of the case ever since i can just detach the keyboard. They did a refresh/update on the case that supposedly made the case more durable and less susceptible to peeling and coming apart but didn’t make a difference in my case. Then the second major flaw is as a keyboard/laptop functionality if you aren’t sitting on anything but a table/desk whatever this thing kinda sucks. Because of the material and design the keyboard bends/flexes if it’s not sitting on something sturdy and flat which leads to phantom clicking of the touchpad when your trying to type, keys being held down after pressing once etc. Was very hopeful this would be the case for me and a good substitute for the magic keyboard but it was not sadly. I exchanged it for an open box magic keyboard and so far no complaints on that….

This case is super light, durable, and the keyboard feels excellent for its form factor and portability. The track pad is large, supports all the iPad's hand gestures, and is *easily* detachable (the biggest selling point for me). I have to subtract 1 Star however, because the lack of a pencil holder is glaring. It was way too easy to knock off my Apple Pencil 2 (not a cheap tool) and not having built in holder is an oversight. I had to get a third party pencil holder that doesn't quite fit, just so the thing wouldn't fall off every time I pulled the tablet from my bag. Otherwise, top marks for Logitech.

Absolutely terrible product. I bought one new and in less than 10 months it started to fall about. The rubber lining around the screen peeled off, the track pad registers multiple touches even if you only have one finger on it (this leads to your home screen layout getting moved around a lot) and randomly the keyboard wouldn't register keystrokes. I warranted it out and what a difficult process. It takes multiple phones calls and emails. they also want photo and video evidence of each issue. And good luck getting them the photos and videos. They request them via email and then your email gets kicked back because the file size is too big for their severs. They also request you mail in your defective keyboard case before they will send you a new one. So if it is your only case, like me, then you just don’t have a case until the new one arrives in 7-10 business days. On top of that the replacement case they sent me also had issues with the trackpad and key strokes. I. called back about it and they started making em the whole warranty process again. I am throwing this in the garbage and buying something else. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY.

I recently purchased the Logitech keyboard for my iPad, and I'm absolutely loving it! As a college student and writer, I need a keyboard that's reliable, efficient, and comfortable to use. This keyboard delivers on all fronts. The keys are well-spaced and responsive, making it easy to type out papers, emails, and notes. This is one of the best accessories I’ve ever purchased! Lots of functionality and absolutely improves ease of use with my iPad.

The iPad Pro (M4) was purchased so I can travel much lighter with my gear and still be able to edit while away from home. So far, it is definitely fitting that need. I am editing my drone footage, both stills and video with relative ease. I purchase the new Apple Pen along with the Logitech keyboard case ad the 10-port HyperDrive. The Loogitech Combo Touch case works flawlessly and was so much cheaper in cost than the Apple solution. Definitely less bulk and weight that my laptop-charger-mouse combo. The M4 chip makes this solution amazingly fast. I think this was definitely the right move for my situation.

It’s super handy having a keyboard when you need to type a lot. I love that it protects my screen as well.

I initially bought the Apple Magic Keyboard. I didn’t feel great leaving the store spending what was almost 30% of the cost of the iPad itself for a case and keyboard. Red flag #1. I used it for two weeks and while having a keyboard readily available was great, there were ALOT of times that wished it was out of the way so i could use the iPad as an iPad, not a MacBook. I ultimately returned it after 2 weeks because it felt overpriced and I would find myself taking the iPad off the case very often to use it like an iPad. Then I found this Logitech one instead! Best of both worlds and it’s significantly cheaper. Try this case. You won’t regret it and will not be missing out on any features in comparison to Apple’s first party option.

Best keyboard for M4 iPad Pro hands down. Also best for other iPad versions IMO. Looking for a great keyboard without paying the Apple tax, then stop reading the review and buy this now. I use the iPad in bed at times without the keyboard and it props up nicely with the stand part. Then at my desk or on the go, I click in the keyboard and I am Typing away. So easy anyone can use it. Pros More protection than the Apple MKB WAY cheaper than the Apple MBK Key travel is great Key feel is great Responsiveness is very good More viewing angles than Apple MKB Detached keyboard and you have a case with kickstand for the iPad. Cons Volume buttons are hard for me to find in the dark at times Footprint is larger with the Keyboard attached, but it hasn’t been an issue for me. I have had the Apple Magic Keyboard and it’s nice, but wobbly when using the touchscreen. This is due to a design flaw in the Apple MKB. I returned the Apple MKB for this and don’t miss a thing. I felt the previous gen Apple MKB was better than the M4 version for wobble.

The new Logitech Combo Touch for the iPad pro M4 has gone downhill in almost every way. First off, I want to say that I loved the last generation’s combo touch. I Loved it so much that I even convinced my parents to get one for their iPad’s. That being said, I was very excited to try out the new Combo Touch, only to be extremely disappointed. The first thing I noticed when taking it out of the box is how bad the build quality is. The case is made of mostly plastic with a soft plastic seam around the front - this acts as the bezel. This is held on by some cheap glue and it’s already falling apart (see the picture below). When the kickstand is extended, you can really tell just how flimsy the back of the case is. The outer side of the case has a soft TPU type material which collects fingerprints. As far as the keyboard goes, Logitech added the same TPU material around the keyboard as whatso in the case. This is not very comfortable to type with due to it being so slippery. The backlit keys are low profile and in my opinion are a little too low. The trackpad rattles a bit, leading me to think it was not seated correctly. The back of the keyboard is now plastic and is a fingerprint magnet, it also makes the keyboard look incredibly cheap (see picture below). Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the new Combo Touch. I don’t understand how Logitech can take such an amazing product and turn it into trash. The fact that the plastic bezel was coming off right out of the box shows me that this won’t hold up very long. The plastic case that shows more fingerprints than anything else, makes it look cheap. Typing on the keyboard doesn’t feel good because it’s too slippery causing my hands to slip. And all this for a premium price…I definitely would not recommend this case to anyone.

Overall the Logitech Combo Touch is a great keyboard case. The detachable keyboard is a fantastic feature it allows me to easily switch between typing and using the iPad in tablet mode, giving me maximum flexibility. The keyboard itself is very comfortable to type on. I also love the backlit keys, which make it easy to work in low light. The trackpad is smooth, precise, and responsive. The case provides great protection for my iPad while remaining lightweight and slim. The magnetic connection between the keyboard and the iPad is strong, and the overall build quality feels premium. Overall, I highly recommend the Logitech Combo Touch. It’s the perfect accessory for anyone who wants to boost productivity, whether for work, school, or casual use.

a perfect fit and it’s easier to type than on the flat keyboard on iPad

The case keyboard and trackpad are nice like the previous one. The only reason I'm taking a start is due to the fact that the back of the keyboard is a hard plastic that is a fingerprint magnet and will strach over time. The fabric on the combo touch for the older iPad Pro models were nicer on that aspect. This one is better in built quality and finish but the hard plastic was a bit of a let down

Love this for a full-scale keyboard/trackpad case. It's sturdy, the keys feel right, the case is protective, and it simply works. Suggestion-- can someone make a Slim Folio keyboard folio for the new iPad Pro (M4)'s? Since Apple discontinued the Smart Keyboard Folio, there's no product that is super lightweight and compact without the trackpad etc. I want something minimalist and don't use the trackpad. I tried the old Smart Keyboard Folio-- it's not just the magnets, it is fully disabled even if you could make something work. And the old Smart Keyboard can't connect with the new smart connector. So there's literally no product out there. FYI-- I did a real-world weight comparison: - iPad M1 11-inch w/ Apple Smart Keyboard Folio: 23.1 ounces - iPad M4 11-inch w/ Logitech Combo Touch: 32.6 ounces - iPad M4 11-inch w/ new Apple Magic Keyboard: much more a 2024 Slim Folio keyboard would be a perfect answer!

I enjoyed using this with my iPad on my recent travels. At times, I din't get the connections between my watch, phone and iPad as I wanted. That could have been my inexperience. Most everything worked well and as expected.
