I wanted to love this, BUT…

I had the previous generation of this combo touch keyboard case for my 2021 iPad Pro. It was incredible. Flawless. So when I got my 2024 iPad Pro, it was a no-brainer for me to get this updated combo touch case. However, Logitech’s attempts at updating it seemed a bit rushed. Not only do I agree with other reviews, saying that it is a fingerprint magnet, because it very much is! But also, because they increased the trackpad size, it’s hardly usable when typing documents. I have medium sized hands as a middle-aged male. As I am typing on this keyboard, the inside of my palms will start to click the trackpad, causing the cursor to go elsewhere on the screen and type the other half of what I am typing, in another other part of the document. It’s exhausting having to constantly go back and correct for this. The only way to type on this without that clicking issue is to hover your hand over the trackpad, which puts a lot of strain on your wrists over time. I would avoid this and go for the Apple magic keyboard.

Good Keyboard and Cover for the ipad

A plus that you can detach the ipad from the keyboard and it is still protected. You can use the ipad as an ipad or as a mini laptop but just disconnecting the keyboard. The apple keyboard doesnt seem to do that.

I like that you get protection for your iPad and can detach from the keyboard while maintaining the case. This is the newer version without the fabric which I think I like better.

Buyer beware! Do not bundle

The iPad was on sale for $100 off and the keyboard was on sale for 25% off. When I went to return the keyboard in store because I did not need it due to receiving another one at Christmas, they removed the $100 discount from my iPad that I purchased at the same time stating that because it was bundled I lose all discounts and would only be refunded around $75 instead of the full purchase price of the keyboard.

Love my new keyboard

Poor Design - Product Failed Twice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this and the edge of the rubber came off around the screen, it is a very poor design, after spending an hour with Logitech customer service and sending them receipts, pictures and videos of the design flaw, they sent me a warranty replacement. The warranty replacement had no further warranty and within 3 months it came apart at the same seem wraps around the screen. There are many other reviews of this product with the exact same failure of the rubber trim piece.

Less than a year and it’s kaput.

It was at first and worked great for about 5 months. Now I have an issue with the keyboard intermittently deleting when I use the spacebar. Reached out to Best Buy for support, and even though I have the Membership, because it was less than a year, they said I should contact Logi. It’s been a month of trying to get them to do something to help. They want a screen shot of this, and a video of that. No real improvement and I feel like I am jumping through hoops. Don’t waste your time, get the Apple product.
