So Many Options In One Light

I knew very little about this product beforehand. Did some digging after laying eyes on it and it was everything I needed in one package. You have multiple mounting options, a sturdy base that doesn't take much room, it can be extended higher, and has user-friendly software to control the lighting temp and brightness as well as previewing your camera feed. It also has Bluetooth options which I haven't used yet, but I'm happy with my wired setup and it practically solved all of my problems. You may have to mind how you power your light because the ability to achieve full brightness requires 5V 1.4A power source. That said, the PC USB should be good enough. Definitely worth the purchase for a streaming setup.

I had the smaller Logitech light prior to this, and while I loved it, its use was limited due to mounting options. For the most part it was only made to sit on top of a monitor. This light is more versatile in that you can position it anywhere and angle it for optimal lighting. It also provides far more lighting. If you are familiar with ghub then using this is simple. Just adjust temp and brightness using the sliders. If you have other Logitech products like mice and keyboards, you can assign functions like turning the light on an off with a keyboard key or mouse button. So far it works great and I have had zero issues. I think it is worth the cost over the original litra light.

    Good, But Expensive.

A really great light with a ton of options. A tad expensive for what you get though. Draws more power than a standard USB3.0 port or powered hub port can provide even in a high end gaming/streaming rig. This can be resolved using a high output wall brick but then you lose out on the software integration provided by G-Hub. That said, I found the 60% brightness cap on USB port power to be plenty bright for my needs. Lots of great mounting and cable management options too. It is expensive thoguh when you consider any $30 ring light can basically do ehat this does. Youre paying for aesthetics and fine thning in the software.

The Logitech Litra Beam is a neat little light. The base is sturdy and built well. The height adjustment is simple and easy with no buttons to push. You just push or pull the stand up and down for adjustment. The Light itself gets bright enough to light any desk area. This can make a nice secondary key light. There are three mounting screws so you can mount it in multiple ways. Controls are on the back that has a positive click so you know when you hit them. Great cable management on the back to hide the cable away. The quality of the Litra Beam feels durable. You can download the software to control the light via USB-3. But the light would not connect via Bluetooth. I tried it on multiple computers. Which was fine since I prefer manual controls. The software to control the light was simple also. You can manage the temperature and brightness. Overall this is a nice design for a very compact light. That doesn't take up much desk space! The beam of the light isn't harsh at all. It is subtle and not overbearing. No eye straining also. Overall, a fantastic light.
