Excellent light option for limited desk space or unique configuration. We have numerous stream lights in our gaming setups, but all the others are very large and cumbersome. This is simple and designed well and provides enough light to get the job done. The light does seem a bit excessively focused in a frontal pattern, so be aware if you have no lighting for your surroundings, the shadows around you will be very harsh even at low settings, at that point you’re going to need additional lights to cover those spots. However, YOU will definitely be the focal point of your video capture with this light!

Nice even lighting that doesn't take up all my desk space and doesn't look "gamery" or "youtuber." My streaming setup is pretty permanent but with this at least it doesn't draw as much attention.

I Didn't Know I Needed It Until I Tried It

I'm going to be honest and say I wasn't sure I would use a streaming light because I'm not an influencer and I'm not big on posting videos at all. However, after getting it set up and configured, I discovered a very pleasant use for it. I do a LOT of Teams meetings and this bar is incredibly useful for them. It takes the bright glare of overhead or lamp lights out, it gives a solid, consistent lighting that actually makes me skin look good, and it prevents my camera from automatically adjusting the brightness. Now to the details. It came in a nice box that was easy to open and had sorting sections. Not bulky or overblown waste of materials. I appreciate the minimalist approach especially when it comes to trash. Assembly was very easy as it only required screwing in two pieces and running a USB cord for power/control. I tried the various positions for the light (it has multiple configurations that make it flexible for space, location, and need), but settled on the standard horizontal mounting. I did move it to several different places to see how it best fit. My home desk is rather small so I have it sitting behind my monitors and pointing down, but right in front of me. I was worried about the bright light pointing into my eyes, but it has adjustments for the brightness and intensity/color of the light so I found a setting that lights me up without blinding me. It does have control software that you can use to control the settings and create presets. I have presets for morning, afternoon, and evening meetings as well as a couple settings for low-light computer work (it's not just for cameras). You can also manually adjust the light with the buttons and the software will update so you can save them regardless of how you adjust the light. The software works via USB cable or Bluetooth. Mine is USB because I power and control it through the computer port, but I could see having it further away and needing the Bluetooth control option. It is heavier than I thought it would be, but it makes sense with the telescoping height adjustment and the multitude of configurations the light itself can be set in. The only negative I have found is a personal issue. It has wire management and on the light itself, it's great. However, I would prefer if the cable went through the extension bar can came out on the bottom instead of having guides on the outside. This means when you adjust the height you have to adjust the cable as well. Like my title says, I didn't know I needed a presentation light but now I don't take a meeting without it. It's one of those things I overlooked because I don't do online videos or streaming. Now I realize it is a great desk lamp, camera light, and utility light all wrapped up in one.
