Nice small lights
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice small light. I like them. I have 2, one on each of two monitors so they project and different angles. Good color and brightness adjustments. Wish they came with a USB power, had to provide my own.

Outstanding light that every streamer should use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish everyone I meet online would use the Logitech Litra Glow streaming light. So many people don't pay attention to lighting during Zoom meetings, and their faces are too dark from backlighting or washed out from a light that is too strong. I don't want to be one of those persons, which is why I acquired the Litra Glow. This light provides exactly the right amount of lighting, with the warmth and intensity easily adjusted with either easy-to-reach button controls on the back of the light or the freely downloadable Logitech G Hub software. The provided A to C USB cable is plenty long, and the excess can be tucked into the mount. A couple of tips for maximizing your experience with this light. The hinged mount will fit over a monitor up to an inch-and-a-half thick when extended to 90 degrees. I have a laptop with an one-eight-inch thick screen, so my instinct was to open the mount slightly and slide it over my display. Although that can be done, it is better to extend the mount all the way to 90 degrees; it perches on the top of a laptop screen just fine that way and does not block the camera or any part of the display in that position. Also, make use of the Litra's height and tilt adjustment features. At first, I had the Litra and minimum height, and the light reflected badly off my glasses. But when I raised the height and tilted it forward, I avoided this reflection. I have mixed feelings about the G Hub software. It is certainly nice to be able to adjust light intensity and warmth levels and to save settings to a default profile. But there are a couple of shortcomings to the software as well. The main shortcoming is that you cannot run it simultaneously with your streaming software, because only one app can access the camera at any one time. That means you must make adjustments before you start streaming and then close the G Hub before opening your streaming software. If you want to make a change while you are streaming, you are better off using the button controls on the back of the light. A second, minor complaint is that the labels for the preset levels did not produce effects I anticipated. For example, "Cozy Candlelight" was a lot brighter than I expected. "Bright Warm Candlelight" looked like the sun at high noon. It is better to make manual adjustments to your liking and save them as a preset. In short, the Litra Glow is an ideal light source for making you look good while streaming video. Don't annoy your viewers with poor lighting; use the Litra Glow to create a good experience for everyone.

Worse than ring light
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was disappointed with this light. Tried to replace my ring light with something that would be mounted to my screen, but no luck here. The light itself isn't bright enough to light my face and caused my camera quality to drop because it was trying to adjust for lighting too often. There are physical buttons that you can use but are on the back of the unit so you can't adjust on the fly unless you have their app. Which means during a meeting you'd have to open and app and the make your adjustments. My last gripe was that there was no way to assign a shortcut or key to the light and it's features such as on/off, brightness, or tone so it once again relies too much on the app.

Posted .Hello Marc,
I am sorry that the Litra Glow is not meeting your expectations. The Litra Glow is in a different category than ring lights; therefore, it will not be a comparable performance. Also, the light app G HUB will sync multiple Litra Lights if one is not enough for your lighting needs. It will also let you synchronize and adjust multiple Litra Glow simultaneously. In addition, the app G HUB will also pair the Litra Lights with your Logitech camera so you can change the lights on the app before using it on a live meeting. I hope that you find this information helpful. Logitech appreciates your product review. - Leo from Logitech

A versatile little light with Big features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing light! Not only has it helped with Zoom calls, but it has other uses I'll mention later. The ability to adjust the brightness and color is especially helpful when you're in an office or room that has lighting changes due to an abundance of windows. As the sun moves throughout the day, I was able to adjust brightness and color to make me look good while in meetings. While Twitch streaming, it never makes you look "washed out". The G Hub control is intuitive and easy to use, or you can use the manual buttons. Appears to be better at lighting than a ring style light. Another use is one my GF came up with and tried out. Using it as a portable light to get ready for our date. For anyone into makeup, this makes a good light for a vanity or other area. It's easily portable, and you can plug it into a power bank if no wall plug is available. We took it on a trip and she was able to get ready to go out faster in out hotel since she had good lighting. The light unscrews from the base, so you're able to mount it on a tripod. The Litra Glow is a great option for anyone shooting TicToks, Youtube vids, Streaming or talking on Zoom. Highly recommend.

Perfect steamer and video meeting campanion
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been needing a supplemental light for zoom meetings and also for streaming. This light delivers! The installation is very clean and easy. The light features a mount that allows it to move up and rotate with ease. I like that it’s longer and has a channel for better cable management for that clean aesthetic. The connection is USB-C on the back which I always think is great. The setup on the computer was basically effortless. I had the Logitech G HUB app already on my computer, and as soon as I plugged the light in it was automatically recognized by the app and was ready to go. This light is great. The built in diffuser makes this really easy to add to my set up without looking like you have light. It fill my face with my lights in my office and also adjust perfectly for natural sunlight. The adjustment is very easy to run in the app as well as on the back of the light. If you are looking for a light this is it! I haven’t found a light that is as accurate and soft to really add light in without being harsh. I absolutely love it. Only thing I don’t like is that I didn’t have it sooner.

solid name brand light at a reasonable price point
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech’s Litra Glow is a a new compact LED key light that’s designed to illuminate a person while seated at a desk in front of a computer camera for online video communication and from work-from-home. Power is provided via a USB-C port on its back. It comes with a small mount to attach it to the top of your computer screen and by doing so it reduces desk clutter and the need to find space for the legs or the clamp of another device on your desk surface. As I stated it is powered by a USB-C port that could get power from a spare phone charger or from a spare computer USB port. It adds just enough light to make online video call sessions better for removing the dreaded “vampaire look” of deep shadowed eye sockets and overall non flattering light from normal room lighting. It works fine to my liking. The light brightness and color temperature are adjustable, and has 5 presets for different scenarios. It can be controlled using button controls on the back of the light, or via software controls on Logitech’s G Hub software. Here, you can set up custom presets, and if a user buys more than 1 Litra light, control them simultaneously. The light also is controlled with some of Logitech’s keyboards and mice, using some macro buttons. It has a suggested price of only $59.99 and considering it is a Logitech name brand product and not one of the many “random letter generator” brands appearing online today that seems a reasonable price point.

Incredible Budget Option
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is defintiely a direct competitor to a certain key light and it steps to up the challenge in a big way. Don’t think twice about a $200 alternative when this gives you everything you need at a much cheaper cost. I replaced my massive overpowered ring light with this and the difference is astounding. No more washout of the RGB colors behind me in the camera on streaming and video calls. The color and brightness adjustments are quick and easy using the G-hub software or the buttons on the back of the light. My only wish is that it would actively show the difference as you dragged the slider back and forth. You have to release the mouse click before the change happens. This is a 10/10 product. I am so excited to use this from now on and explore more accent lighting options behind me now that the washout is gone. If you’re new to streaming, this is a must have.

Next level for your streaming or home office
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech’s newest accessory isn’t a mouse, keyboard, or webcam, it’s a light! As many people have moved to working from home or hybrid work, and with more and more people sharing their experiences on streaming platforms, looking your best on your webcam has become a part of personal and professional life. Washed out poorly lit video is how many of your peers may see you, and having proper lighting to ensure your non-verbal messaging is getting across can be very important to your professional life. Streamers also know the value in a flattering and well lit environment, and a front light is a big part of that look. Logitech has made the Litra Glow panel light to help meet this need. It can be controlled by the G hub app on your PC or by simple controls on the back. Color temperature and brightness can be controlled, and Logitech claims a high degree of color accuracy. Mounting the light is simple, it uses a small grabber foot to hook on to your monitor bezel, similar to most webcams. It can also be detached and mounted on any standard threaded tripod or mount with those threads. Thankfully, the cable is not attached to the back of the light, so you can position it as needed if you need a longer cable. The light end is USB-C, and a USB-C to A cable is included in the box. The light features a frameless design that helps avoid eye strain and softens the edges of the light. Additionally, it has been certified as safe by UL for all day use. In my experience it was not harsh or distracting when used. Setting up the light took about 30 seconds, just hooked it on my monitor, plugged it in, and it was ready to go! A couple of adjustments later and I found a color temp and brightness that complemented my webcam well. Having this front light is great, it removes shadows and provides a “catch light” – that sparkle in your eye without giving you a ring light reflection. With the adjustments and the soft light you can find a flattering color tone and level of brightness that makes your face clear without creating shiny spots. On a whim, I also plugged this into an iPad Pro’s USB-C port, and it powered right up. This makes it a great compliment for on the go use as it is fairly thin and compact folded up, another advantage over a large ring light. It can also be powered by a USB power bank if you want to use it for on the go vlogging etc. Overall, this is a well engineered light that separates itself from generic off-brand lights with good, full spectrum color and certified safety for extended use. It is flexible and compact, making it great for office or travel use. Small investments like this can make worlds of difference in how others see you on webcams, and this one is well worth it.

A quality light and perfect light!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't think I would really like a streaming light as much as I do. I really like the quality of Logitech products to begin with, however, I was really impressed by this light overall. It is really worth it. Funny to say about a light, but wow, I am blown away on this light. There's even software you can use on you computer, but I'll get into that a little later. The unboxing of this light is impressive and minimal as I expected with Logitech. There is a just no muss and not much waste in this packaging. It goes into my local recycle with ease, which is awesome. What you get is a nice, and pretty long light kit in a sense. The reason for the long is to actually use to wrap the usb cord to minimize slack and lessens the medusa of wires we all have on our workstations at work and at home. This is pretty genius! Of course there is a wire tuck in the appropriate spots to run the wire and you can plug them into your computer, dock or usb in your monitor, if you have those equipped. Now to the installation. It is pretty self explanatory once you put it on your monitor or laptop. You can position this high or as close to eye level as your monitor or laptop allows. I preferred the downward position because of less shadows. Once plugged into a USB 2.0 port of choice, you have the option to download the software to control the light as well. I did not do that because, I am using this on my work machine and my company does not allow any third party downloads unless I get permission to do so. Which is fine, because you can use it without the software. You just have to use the onboard buttons on the light itself, which I prefer doing this way anyway. Once your machine is powered on, you press the center area to turn on the light. On the left is the color and shade you prefer. Meaning a bright 5k pure white look to a natural sunlight look. Don't worry, there's settings to get to the middle or little of both to find your personal hue. On the right side you have rockers that control the brightness of the light. And boy does it get bright! Then you can go ahead and position the light in literally any position. There are so may ways to orient this thing, it was actually fun setting it up. The different angles you can achieve on this is very intuitive and well done. You don't need to be an expert to operate this. Just turn on your camera and adjust. Easy peasy. Did I say I like this light?

Nice compact light, more useful than expected
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After getting a high quality mic and hd webcam, I still found my streaming setup incomplete. I was missing a lighting setup. Rather than going with some bulky and cumbersome ring light setup, I found myself with the Logitech Litra. The first thing that stood out to me, aside from the shape of the light being a solid square, was the mount. Like the mount on the webcam, this was designed to clip to the back of any monitor (or laptop screen) while still allowing me to adjust the height and angle that the light was shining at. This is perfect for keeping pesky reflections when I'm using my glasses. What's more is that the mount is completely removable, and you can install the light on any standard tripod base. This opens up way more options than simply being a light accessory for a monitor webcam. There are physical controls on the back of the light, allowing you to turn the power on or off, set the intensity, and set the warmth of the light. You can also adjust the settings by installing Logitech's G Hub software. Included in the software are some preset lighting settings, but the biggest benefit to using it is the ability to set any of the lighting profiles to a custom keyboard button, provided you also have a compatible Logitech keyboard. Since there were on-device controls, and it was attached via a USB A to C cable, I tried plugging it straight into an external power source (a USB charging-only hub not connected to any computer) and it worked fine. It also worked using the portable battery pack I use to charge my phone in emergencies. This plus the tripod mount greatly expands the possible uses, as it does not have to be tied to a computer to use. The light itself has a nice range from cool blue tones to a warm orange. I find at night, during low light situations, and based on my darker complexion, a warm light and 35% brightness works great to illuminate and highlight my face without overexposure. The Logitech Litra may just well replace the bulkier LED box that I had been previously using for photography. Not only is it smaller and lighter with more options of powering on, but the nice diffuse light that it casts is better for preventing shadows. Logitech also claims all day usage without harmful effects, something that I didn't even know was an issue until I started doing research on blue light and LEDs.

Excellent Streaming Light
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been playing around with my Logitech Litra Glow Premium LED streaming light for a couple days and I’m very happy with the results. I have been toying with the idea of creating some online video content and this light has made me feel a bit more comfortable with the idea. Why? Well I suppose vanity, I look better with this light! Let’s back up just a bit and get a few things out of the way. Set up is super easy. Plug in the USB cord for power, attach the bracket piece and place it on your monitor. Once attached to the monitor you can easily adjust it. Rotate, tilt, or slide it along the bracket to move the light itself up or down. The bracket has a handy little cord holder which I also appreciate. Overall I found the bracket very effective for directing the light wherever I wanted. Just make sure the monitor is stable. Sitting the light on a laptop that is literally on top of your lap is not the best idea. Now for the part I really appreciate. The quality of the light! The light generated is very soft and diffused. The difference in how I look in a video versus my previous light (A nice desk LED lamp but not intended for streaming) is very noticeable. It really eliminates harsh shadows and with the ability to adjust the warmth and intensity of the light I was able to fine tune things to get it exactly where I wanted. With a company like Logitech I was expecting a solid product, but I was still surprised at just how good the light actually looks! There is an app that allows you more fine tuned control of the light as well as being able to set presets, but I was able to get it exactly how I want with just the controls on the back of the light. All in all I am quite impressed with this light. It’s so good at giving me a wonderfully even, warm appearance I can’t really say anything bad about it. Thank you Logitech, I am very happy with the product and I would absolutely recommend this to a friend looking for a quality streaming light for a reasonable price.

Excellent Light, Best Features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me first just say that I'm a huge fan of Logitech Devices. I learned long ago that I can't trust generic mice nor off brand gaming controllers, they lack fine control and caused pointer jumping that caused me some trouble. That isn't to say that Logitech hasn't had a couple misses from my personal experience, but Logitech produces some solid products and the Litra Glow is another solid product in their lineup. I was looking for a good light for my webcam use, but most of them were too harsh and only had a few (if any) color temperature or brightness controls. In some cases, their array of LEDs didn't have any diffuser so you would see lighting hot spots on your subjects. This caused me to drag my feet a little in choosing a product. Logitech has great timing, because as soon as I saw this product, I had to pick it up. The light panel is a 3.5 inch square and just under 1 inch thick. There are controls on the back of the panel for on/off, 5 brightness settings and 5 color temperature settings. This is mounted on a tilting and rotating joint atop of a 7 inch paddle that helps to brace the flip out stand against your monitor. The paddle telescopes to raise the light 3.75 inches with 7 stops for a total of 8 height positions. What's also nice is that the panel can twist off the joint to reveal a screw so you can mount the light panel to a tripod. Giving you more freedom of placement for this light. The back of the light panel has a USB-C port and in the packaging there is an included 5 foot USB-A to USB-C cable. As a side note, I was able to plug the USB-A end into a portable battery and was able to run the light off it. So this easily adapts for use as a photography light. The LEDs on the light panel sit behind a frosted panel that is effective in diffusing the light. I couldn't discern any bulbs at any brightness or color temperature levels. According to the specs, the color range goes from 2700 to 6500 Kelvin and a maximum output of 250 Lumens. It has a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 93. To get beyond the 5 brightness and 5 color temperature settings, you need to use Logitech software to give yourself finer control. That's where I come to two nitpicks. First, this is a Logitech product and it's not advertised as part of the Logitech G family of gaming products, yet to control the light via software you must use the Logitech G Hub. Second, at the time of this review, I had 2021.13 version of the Logitech G Hub software installed for my other peripherals and have it set to update automatically. I even set it to check for updates and it wouldn't update. I had to download the 2022.1 which has been available for nearly two weeks. This update introduces support for the Litra Glow. Note: Once I got the update installed, it detected the light but got stuck initializing the profile on the Litra Glow, after closing out of the G Hub and reopening, everything was fine. Within the G Hub app, you have controls for power on/off, 6 lighting presets and the ability to create your own presets, the ability to select your camera, but what I find most useful is the sliding bars that allow the ability to change the color temperature and brightness levels beyond the 5 presets already on the light. This provides you with the ability to tune the light to offset additional light sources and present more natural skin tones in your streams. One of the unexpected features is that if you own a Logitech G keyboard or mouse, you can assign buttons to control the light for quick and easy access without having to open the G Hub app. I'm glad the Logitech expanded their lineup to include a streaming light. I was hard pressed to find a light with this much control and this many features in this price range. Logitech really hit it out of the park with this Litra Glow.
