I needed one that plugs in via a usb port so that it doesn't get hidden by the grandchildren. These seem to be harder to find than a wireless version. Just so simple to set up - just plug it in and it works.

Very reliable needed to purchase for my 2009 iMac because the wireless feature stopped working. I believe this wired mouse will last forever. The scroll and mouse aren’t the best. A couple of times in the beginning, I thought our computer was lagging but it was just the mouse.
