It only takes 1 AA battery and has lasted longer than my husband's heavy, expensive mouse which takes 2. Bought glittery stickers at Staples to find it in the dark.

The Chromebook mouse pad which is built in keyboard stoped working and the Mouse I purchased is compact and works perfectly with the Chromebook.

He likes the feeling of the mouse which is all that matters and it was under $11, i recommend if your on a budget.

I had the same model that I had used with my work laptop for about 3 years, and I'll say this model has some ergonomic improvements. It has sturdier grips on the side and pebbled texture for better grip and feel.
