The mouse is a great pair with a pad and it is a inexpensive way to utilize a mouse for both a laptop and a computer. It works on either and is not going to get broken easy. The underappreciated function is the hidden USB port inside the mouse.

However, be aware of the mouse's small size. I have pretty small hands and I found it to be a little small for me. The setup was a breeze. Quieter than I ever thought it could be. Very accurately responsive. It's made playing games a lot easier and multitasking a lot faster. The usb port for it is super small and sleek, and the little compartment for it in the mouse is extremely helpful when traveling. I actually purchased this while I was petsitting and went back and forth between my house and their house, and I never once lost the usb for it. Knew exactly where it was every time. Peace of mind with this product, and peace of ears as well. My girlfriend loves it. No more annoying clicking when shes trying to sleep!

Very lightweight, fits comfortably in both hands. Great for everyday use but not designed for gaming or heavy multitasking.

This Logitech mouse was a replacement for my mouse at work. I have been enjoying the quiet clicks, it seems more responsive, and the scroll wheel has very distinct notches. The size isn't absurd; not huge, not small, but reasonable. Came with the dongle inside the mouse and had a battery. Basically ready to go right out of the package. It does have an on/off switch. Good mouse for the price of it.

Easy to set up with the included dongle and works great (and silently!). I used it on a counter top without a pad and it was fine.
