You have to insert a battery into the mouse but I’ve had it a year and have not had to change the battery yet.

It got really annoying. Imagine having to click everything twice. Now imagine me doing that when I had to double click something impt like a click to order button or click to submit button...just can't risk it. I really like it so far. It is pretty silent. In fact I just purchase a silent keyboard + mouse combo (different model but we'll see). It's a lot more lightweight compared to my old mouse. Hoping it lasts me a long time. But for $15, I wont be terribly mad if it doesn't.

Logitech M220 SILENT Mouse

I went to another computer store where I purchased a cheaper off brand mouse. It didn't work well with my laptop because of the button arrangements. So, I went to Best Buy and purchased a new Logitech M220 SILENT Wireless Optical Ambidextrous Mouse. This mouse should have been my first purchase. It fits my hand size perfectly. The mouse works with the Windows 11. I can adjust scrolling amounts. If necessary, I could change the functionality of the right and left buttons. The other advantage of this mouse is that it isn't that expensive. It was less than $15.
