Scroll wheel hard to control

It's kinda small for someone with large hands but I'm getting used to it. It has excellent response to your movements, but what I have a problem with is the scrolling wheel. Scrolling up and down a web page isn't bad but when you use it to zoom in and out, like on Google maps for example, it doesn't stop zooming right away when you stop moving the wheel. It's a little hard to control.

Life is better with a new mouse...!

I don't seem to send it off my desk and on to the floor like I did my HP that came with my computer a year ago. It finally died after hitting the floor too many times.
