This is still on the 1st battery and it has been a while. The green light does not stay on and that must save battery power. I love the color too,

I like this model as it is larger and works better for big hands. There is a similar version if you have smaller hands, slightly different model number.

I love the ability to turn the mouse off and on to save batteries! Haven't had to change batteries since buying it about 30 days ago. Very happy.
