It is a little loud with the click sounds but it works great. As long as you don't need a bunch of other buttons this mouse covers everything from a two button mouse with scroll wheel to a three button mouse. I use it for 3D animation.

My MS 4000 lasted a few years, but the rubber scroll wheel began disintegrating and had to be tossed. At first I did not like this M310, because it felt cheap, but it is comfortable due to rubber side grips, battery life is also a big plus.
