    It does the job, but the Apple's performance is smoother and more versatile. It is also more than 2X the cost of Logitech. If on sale I would spring for another Apple.

    We purchased this not thinking about bluetooth vs. not bluetooth. This is not bluetooth, so you have to put the USB dongle in a USB port to use the mouse. Most laptops don't have a lot of USB ports and they almost all have bluetooth, so in most cases it doesn't make sense to buy a non-bluetooth mouse. I'm sure this is a perfectly fine mouse. We returned it and purchased a bluetooth mouse instead just so we didn't unnecessarily use up a USB port.
