Plug in the dongle to the USB and the computer instantly recognized the device. The mouse has an ON/OFF switch but the mouse "sleeps" if inactive. The batteries that come with it lasted approximately 3 weeks. I added fresh name brand batteries to the mouse and it has now been operating the last 2 months. Very pleased with Logitech.

I especially like that I can leave the usb portion connected to the computer when I put my computer in its my case. I have been using the same AA battery for a cople months now and am still going strong as well even though I am constantly using it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a great mouse for travel, it is small enough that it will fit inside of a laptop bag, and yet big enough that I still have something to grip on the underside of my hand. The batteries last next to forever and I use the mouse daily for 2-3 hours at a time, and have only needed to change them once out of the year that I've had them for.

She witness the failure.

Just plug in the teeny-tiny wireless adapter and go; the computer recognizes the device instantly, the mouse immediately starts working, and there is no software to install.

If you're looking for a smaller mouse, go with something else. Otherwise, this mouse does the job for a good price. Easy to setup and the battery life thus far has been great.

I normally have to move my work laptop between meetings and having a wireless mouse that is responsive, and battery efficient has been wonderful.

Only complaint is the on/off button is a bit stiff, but really not a big deal. Trying to remember to shut it off to save battery life is a whole other story, lol.

Great reliable mouse with long lasting battery. It is responsive and accurate and most importantly, comfortable in the hand.
