better than others on smoother surfaces

The one thing I've noticed that sets it apart is that it works on almost any surface. I have this mouse and a few others from Logitech, GearHead, etc. - and this is the one that works well on smoother surfaces.

Anything beyond that would likely require something more. Great value at the price point and no connectivity issues since it runs directly through USB w/ built-in driver.
