This seems to be random and erratic. No documentation covering this is available and no related settings are available that I can find.

Bought 2(1 for work and 1 for home). One works great, in fact I am using it for this. The other would register a double click when I clicked once. Contacted Logitech and got no resolution. It sits in a junk box.
