I took it out of the box and plugged it in, worked like a champ right away, no problems at all. Smooth movement, great clicky response from the buttons, helpful scroll wheel, and very helpful storage slot for the USB card when not in use.

It works as expected - smooth movement, scrolls nicely, etc. I haven't used it long, so I can't speak to battery life, yet, but everything else is great. I don't game with it, so I don't know if it is good enough for that. At this price point, probably not.
