    Great All Purpose Mouse

This mouse is great, easy to setup and use. I setup using bluetooth which was very quick. The smartwheel is great. I also like the two side buttons, I primarily use them for navigating web pages which is helpful. What stood out to me the most about this mouse is the silent clicks. At first it was a little weird, but now I'm used to it and I like it. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that at times the mouse freezes up for a couple seconds. Sometimes it happens a couple times in a day and other times it doesn't happen at all. My guess is it might be bluetooth.

    Small hands rejoice!

I have short fingers which makes using a mouse uncomfortable at times. So I was interested when I saw that Logitech has developed a mouse for those with small to medium hands. The mouse itself is up to Logitech's normal high standards. In fact, it has the added benefit if being about to customize the side buttons to those most frequently used instead of the standard backward and forward. Now the mouse itself is not shorter than my previous mouse but it is thinner and this has made all the difference. As my hand isn't spread out trying to hold on to the mouse, my fingers actually reach to the end of the mouse making clicking buttons so much easier. No mis-clicks yet. Now it has taken a few days to get used to the thinner design but it has been so much easier to use and also I noticed less strain on my hand using it. If you have a smaller hand, I recommend trying this mouse as it has really been beneficial for this small hand.

There are a variety of computer mice available to choose from, with many versions of the features offered on this mouse. As an engineer with heavy mouse use due to thousands of clicks weekly while creating complex 3-D designs, the feature I find most unique here is the focus on overall size. Like many of us, I’ve experienced the pain of Carpal Tunnel injury in my wrist and hands. I have relatively large hands and working the many side buttons and moving the mouse around, I had to hold my handing a very unnatural cupped position. With my natural tendency to fiddle with mechanical designs to solve problems, I wound up carving and epoxying curved pieces of wood to a mouse to force my hand to open much wider to do my computer work. I found that switching between several sizes of mice I created, kept my hand from cramping. I must admit though that my hand glued mice were UGLY to the point I would hide them away in a drawer when a client sat with me. I was impressed with the larger size of the Logitech M650 L (“L” for Large) Wireless Mouse. It now replaces one of my handmade creations. I rotate using the different sizes and shapes every day or so to give my hand some variety. Personally I would like to see Logitech create an XXL model with all of the same features to let my hand really stretch out. Features: The M650 can connect to the computer via Bluetooth directly with no USB dongle, if your PC has its own Bluetooth transmitter. If not, the mouse has a removable Bluetooth dongle stored in its battery compartment that you can remove and plug into one of the computer’s USB ports. The contoured shape, rubber side grips and soft thumb area add to comfort during extended use. The customizable side buttons can be programmed (using Logitech downloadable software) for shortcuts like copy/paste etc. By pressing down, the scroll wheel can be changed from super-fast scrolling to line-by-line precision. 1 year Warranty against defects in materials or workmanship The Logitech 650 L is sized for larger hands, but other colors, sizes and even a left-handed model are available with the same features. PROS: Comfortable. Customizable CONS: Out of the box, the curser movement on the screen is too fast for my taste even when set to slow on the Windows mouse settings page. However, there is downloadable software at an address listed on the packaging. I strongly suggest taking the extra step of downloading and installing that Logitec app “Logi-Options +” onto your computer for much more effective control and full use of the features of this mouse. Conclusion: A very good mid-range Mouse with a unique sizing option that might help those with larger hands.

I took this one to work since I spend 8+ hours a per day on a computer there. Got to say, I love it. It fits my hand perfectly! I won’t have a mouse without back/forward buttons and this one worked straight out of the box. Another thing that worked straight out of the box was the connection. My laptop recognized a device in pair mode right when I turned it on and asked if I wanted to complete the connection. Loved that! Super easy. The dongle is still in the mouse and I prefer to keep it there. Also the scroll can be line by line or fast scroll. It's not as smooth as my mx master, but it's still faster than most. This is a nice no frills mouse that does exactly what I need with precision and accuracy and fits my smaller hand perfectly.

Excellent for the office or home. Truly, minimal click sound, softer than the laptop key sounds. Ergonomically smooth and easy on the hand even for my big hands. The best thing is connection via USB Bluetooth dongle or the integrated Bluetooth port of the laptop/desktop. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it uses one single, regular external AA battery.

Silent clicks are great for late-night gaming

This is a really solid mouse. The fact that clicking is silent is really nice. One of the reasons I’ve stuck with trackpads is to avoid disturbing others with rapid clicking, but this mouse is basically the best of both worlds. The Bluetooth connection works well (and I like that it supports the fast-pairing tech), and the USB connector works fine. Between the two, I can use the mouse with two devices with little extra effort. There’s no compatibility issues I’ve seen with either Windows or Mac. One flaw is that it doesn’t seem to glide quite as smoothly as some other mice I’ve used, however, that’s not really a huge issue.

    Silent Clicking For Large Hands

This is great for people with larger hands. I have often felt that I couldn’t find a mouse that was comfortable for my hands, but this mouse fits like a glove. There are rubber sides on the mouse making it easy to keep a grip and feels good to the touch. There are two ways to wirelessly connect the mouse to your computer. You can connect via Bluetooth or with the dongle that comes with it. I connect via the dongle, as I use this for both my laptop and desktop computer. The mouse runs on one AA battery and Logitech says that the battery life is 24 months. I haven’t had it long enough to find out the longevity, but would be happy with the extremely long battery life. In the spot where you change the battery, you can store the dongle for the mouse. I love this because if I go somewhere and take my laptop, I have a storage spot for my dongle. I don’t know how many times I have almost lost one of those because of not having a good place to keep it. This stays right with the mouse. This is brilliant! Have you ever been playing a game or using your computer when the whole house is quiet and all you hear is click, click, click and it drives you crazy? Well this mouse solves that problem. It has SilentTouch technology and you hardly hear any sound at all, if any. Logitech has a program called Logi Options+. With this program, you can customize the buttons on your mouse to what you are comfortable with. I found everything about this mouse great, including the price. The mouse’s installation was very easy and quick. I was able to use it right away. One thing - I wanted be able to use the mouse with work’s laptop AND my apple laptop at the same time. It seems only allow one laptop per mouse. It would be cool if that was possible. I am happy with it being wireless.

I love everything about this mouse with one caveat. The right click button is so sensitive that your finger cannot even rest on it without activating the click. Even so, I like it enough to overlook this. The mouse is fast, smooth and silent!

Wow... finally. I remember when wireless mice came out and you always had to use a plug in dongle and response was slow and they had low DPI on top of that. The newer gen wireless mice are more adaptable. Yes, many still have the wireless dongle but response and DPI has improved. Bluetooth connectivity kicks it up a notch. With the new Logitech M650 you get both Bluetooth and also 2.4hz with an included USB wireless dongle for any devices that don't currently have Bluetooth capability. By far Bluetooth is the best way to connect if your computer is capable. With my Bluetooth enabled on my Windows laptop I turned on the M650 and my computer asked me if I wanted to connect the mouse… automatically… I didn’t have to go into settings and scan for device. This is the first Bluetooth device that I’ve owned that was recognized simply by turning it on. Bravo Logitech!!! While I haven’t tried it yet connectivity to different operating systems is supported and easy to connect. I love the quiet switches so clicking isn’t as pronounced as traditional mice. Much less annoying! Scrolling is a breeze as it seems to be proportional controlled between one line to more lines. It has the standard regiment of buttons: left, right, middle scroll and a couple of side buttons which can be programmed with the optional downloadable software. Logitech says an AA battery can last up to 2 years… very stingy on power. I have the M650 L which would be a great choice if you have a catcher’s mit for a hand like I do. The larger size has a great feel in my hand. The grip is very comfortable and I don’t have to crunch up my hand to access all of the buttons. It’s light weight so it zips quickly across my mouse pad. The M650 L is now my go to mouse for work. It’s perfect for what I need and at the end of the day I can grab my laptop off it’s dock, toss it in my backpack and toss the mouse in along with it. Highly recommended for most use.

Logitech have created a mouse that's perfect for all forms of work. M650 is a mouse that I'm actually using when I'm on the go or at work. For a mouse of this price point I'm generally impressed but all of the features they can fit in here while still beating other each products out there. The M650 is a mouse that's egomaniacally designed for larger hands while not being too flashy or bombarding you with useless things. This has accommodate me on all types of workflow throughout the day. There are tons of mini mouse out there for travel but this one fits my large hands just right so issues there. long hours and the M650 still provided a level of comfortability not many out there can do. The mouse also make very silent clicks with each use so you won't truly disturb those around you. For vertical monitors this thing is a dream as you have a "smart" scroll wheel on the mouse that helps freely control the scroll of webpages or other productivity. There are two buttons on the side of the M650 that you can customize for other uses. want them to Play/Pause music or Copy/Paste it can be done here. The Logitech.com/OptionsPlus is where you would go to download the app for windows or mac. Logitech's Signature M650 also can use Bluetooth or use a USB dongle so compatibility shouldn't be a problem. The best feature and the most defining thing for me here is that this mouse can last 2 years on two AA batteries which is AMAZING. 24 months of not charging is a god send. if the device actually last that long this will surely be a good product. I've been using it for DAYS and it doesn't have no signs of slowing down. I guess you can already tell I highly recommend this mouse to everyone. It it works, does the job its suppose to do, fast, silent and at a cheap price? this is the all around mouse I would gravitate to for all things outside of gaming. truly a consumer friendly product.

Don't Be Deceived By The Description

Do not let the description deceive you into thinking this is a larger than normal mouse for those of us with monster hands. It is a normal sized desktop mouse. There is nothing wrong with that, but don't think this is a special build for big hands. It is larger than the M535 which I also like very much even though it is a small mouse. Both mice, the M535 and M650L, are great to throw in a book bag and take with you. The M650L is a normal sized mouse with both the dongle and Bluetooth support. They both work very well with excellent range. There is a slot inside the battery cover for the dongle if not being used, I always appreciate this little feature because these little dongles are lost so easily when there is not a storage compartment in the device. The mouse has a great feel and the buttons are in the perfect position, Logitech is usually very good with side button placement and they hit the sweet spot again. I can not attest to battery life but marketing says 2 years on one AA battery. No reason to doubt that considering Logitech's track record. The scrolling is smooth and accurate. Glide of the mouse is excellent. It seems to work on most none clear surfaces. So far I have used BT with Windows (10 and 11), Chromebook (Chrome OS) and Android. All have been spot on and perfect. With the dongle I have used on Chrome OS and Windows 11. Absolutely no issues anywhere. To switch between BT and dongle just hit the pair button while the dongle is powered. This is a solid full sized mouse that feels good in hand but is not oversized. A large hand claw grip may cause some cramping in the palm. Definitely recommended, this is yet another solid design from Logitech.
