Great Logitech Mouse

This is the second one that I bought within the last 3 months for two different Mac computers. It/they easily connects by Bluetooth to the Mac's. And it's half the price of the Mac mouse. The updated design is very comfortable. And the side forward/backward buttons are very nice to have for file or website navigation.

Logitech Signature M550 Wireless Mouse

I use the mouse via built-in Bluetooth with my main laptop. I also use it with the supplied dongle with an older laptop that doesn't have Bluetooth built-in. I turn off the mouse and then back on. Then press the link button to go back and forth. Of course with the other laptop turned off. The single AA battery lasts a long time. Normally I don't turn it off and just let it go sleep. In Windows I disabled the Logitech startup app. Unless you need the special features set up. Note that this type mouse comes in a larger size - M650.

So quiet

Doesn't matter since I use it with a mechanical keyboard but it works very well. Both bluetooth and the dongle work well. Battery life has been amazing, have yet to change the battery since I bought it 7 months ago. I use it 5 days a week for work, at least 8 hours a day. Couple times on the weekend. Works well without a mouse pad as well on the bare desk.
