This mouse tracks on almost any surface. I like how it fits in my hand and the excellent battery life. Great bargain if you buy it on sale. It could be more rugged. You could have problems with it if it's dropped.

I keep a stock of these in my home. They rarely break, but I try to keep two or three around as a just in case. Battery life is great. I only have to replace the battery every 3 or 4 months.

Got this Logitech mouse on sale and it has proven to be a great addition to my laptop. Does what it should and I've had no problems with it.

Logitech got it rite with this product weather on the go, plane, train or car, and maybe just classroom or home the works great. I've even forgotten the last time I replaced the battery.
