The buttons and wheel work just fine. I liked it and bought two more (I replaced Microsoft model 4000 mice which fail and try to smoke the USB port) .

Good little portable mouse...

I have other wireless mice and had NOT noticed the little storage place in the battery compartment for the sending unit (piece you plug into the USB port) Great idea. I had an OLD wireless for my laptop, which got stolen, and it did not have that little place for the sending unit so I had to get a small plastic box to protect it... I guess the thief got a working mouse that way... BUT, I had a devious owner password which the thief must have not been able to break because nothing bad happened... probably did a reset which erased everything.

Workhorse mouse
