    Used on my laptop, its great because the transmitter is close. I attempted to use it on my desktop computer when my old mouse died, and the distance between the case where it was plugged in was too great and worked intermittently. Tracks on pretty much any solid surface I put it on. Did not work on clear glass (I had to try didn't I?)
