Love the optical tracking feature. One AAA battery. Haven't had to change batteries yet. the case has a covered lid that holds the usb plug so no fumbling for it when I move it from desktop to laptop

Reliable, precise, long battery life

They seem to work for years on a single AA cell in spite of everyday use. Cursor movement is fast, smooth and precise for good control of selection and placement. The small USB receiver is so small that it can be left permanently plugged into my laptop.
