    I hate trackpads and always have a mouse in my backpack to use with my laptop. This one does the job well. It uses the unifying receiver so if you have a wireless keyboard already it will also connect to this mouse. Really only complaint is that the wheel has no detents.

    This mouse is still around for more than 3 years. It's an old technology but it still works. By the way, this is not a 'Bluetooth-enabled' device. So, it requires an extra USB port for its wireless transceiver.

    I bought this for a lap top. I prefer a mouse to the one built into the lap top. This works fine. It was easy to set up.
