Changing the batteries had no affect. I looked online for this mouse since I already use one on my work computer. I found it here on sale so got it for a great price. It fits my hand perfectly and does everything it should flawlessly. no jumping pages, no jittering. Just smoothing scrolling. Great mouse at a great price.
