    I have a M317 and this M325. I personally prefer the M325. They are the exact same size, the wheel on the M325 feels looser whereas the M317 you can feel the wheel almost "clicking" as you go. The mouse works fine with a chromebook or a laptop. My son who is the primary user on a chromebook also doesn't like the feel of the wheel. The other difference between the 2 models is the wheel will go from side to side on the M325 but not the M317. So if you need a basic mouse for a younger person, I would recommend the M317 but if you want more features then maybe the M325 is better.

    Wish I had bought a larger mouse. I have large hands and this is a small mouse, but I'm getting used to it. Nice motion and usage though, great for the price.
