She likes it a lot because of the portability, and the flexibility to use her chromebook. Only downside is it uses batteries, so if that's a dealbreaker then find a wireless mouse with a charging cable.

Best Mouse for a Laptop

It is just the right size to fit your hand realistically without being too small, or being too big to fit in a small laptop bag. The USB dongle storage inside the mouse is battery compartment also great for transport. Additionally, this mouse is great for either left-handed or right-handed people.

Love this mouse!

It's not a matter of them failing to work, but instead a deeply rooted ratification with this particular model. Currently the M325's I own are used on 2 desktops and 2 laptops. All are gaming geared PC's, and while there are very capable gaming mice out there, I find that the M325 is a very comfortable mouse to use and one that I'll definitely buy again and again.
