It has somewhat rubberized sides, so my thumb and ring finger don't slip. I'm very happy with this mouse.

Thank goodness for google and battrry was dead when purchased - stop putting opened items back on shelf best buy!

I'm really not a fan of the touch pad so I use this mouse in place of it for my HP mini running Linux Ubuntu. It does what it's supposed to do nothing more nothing less.
