I actually suggested to get him a different one but he liked the first one so much he insisted to get the same one again... and he is happy with it ;o)

Also, it doesn't need a mousepad and works on almost any surface just fine.

I have tiny hands so it does work well for me, only had it for a little while and think I will like it once I get used to it. I do really like that it has an off/ on switch to prolong the life of the batteries. The click of the buttons is the perfect noise level, and the scroll button moves smoothly.

I never turn the mouse off and seems like the battery lasts forever. Just like the rest of excellent Logitech products, I love it.
