    It is advertised as laser wireless mouse, but you do not find any specific description on mouse or user guide. I am not sure laser or optical. I posted some photos for review. Please make sure and ask logitech customer service about specification of the m325 mouse.

    Light weight but works great for the price. Documentation could use a bit of help- need the miniature usb drive in the bottom compartment to connect it to the laptop or device.

    (Same review as the red one. Best Buy wouldn't let me order two of the same thing at the sale price, so I ordered a purple one instead.) I am using my previous backup laptop mouse and needed another one for when this one goes--it may be a while; they last forever. So I ordered a purple one since they were on sale. These Logitech mouses are great and a lot cheaper on sale at Best Buy than they cost at Walmart ($30).

    Love this mouse. This is my second mouse. The first one I got it for free at work but it kept falling so it got spoiled. I bought the same one and don’t want to use any other mouse
