Posted .It's interesting that you've experienced the same "no visible light" situation with multiple Logitech M325s mice, even though they function correctly. This is actually a common characteristic of many modern optical mice, including the M325s.
The M325s uses an invisible optical sensor (often infrared) for tracking, rather than a visible red LED light like older mice. So, the absence of a visible light from the bottom of the mouse is normal and not an indication of a fault. As long as the mouse is working fine for your tasks, its performance is as expected!

Replacing an m335 i've used for 10 years and love but they don't make them anymore. Close in size but if it just wasn't for the hump on this thing. I guess I should have tried this out sooner, Best Buy 15 day return policy stinks! Sat in the box for 2 weeks before I tried it. Thought I had at least 30 days. Can't use it.

Wireless Mouse Out-foxes the House Cat!

It glides with ease and since there's no attached cord, I no longer have to scold my cat Princess who had the annoying habit of attempting, ever so often, to chew on said Mouse cord!!

When I went to Best Buy I was pleasantly surprised to see a number of options. I bought the Logitech M325s as the last mouse I had was the same brand. It began working immediately when I inserted the chip into the USB port and I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of mouse.
